Ah. She was crying then? I didn't like it because Willow wasn't herself, she was like her other evil half. In other circumstances when she wasn't evil it may have been hilarious, though, depending on what it was.

How's that? Does whiny Dawn make for a better storyline for her?

I liked S7 Dawn. By the end of the season, she knew and accepted her position in the group and acted mature about it.

As for her being picked on by Willow, I felt it was really harsh although Willow was right. Perhaps it was a nod to those viewers who disliked how much Dawn whined since she was first introduced to the show?
 
I don't remember this scene really, but I think I didn't like it that much, no matter how strongly I dislike Dawn. But Willow wasn't herself and that was disturbing.

It would be funny if her calling Dawn whiney were indeed a nod to the fans who dislike Dawn, but I'm not too sure about that. Maybe the writers realised themselves that s5 Dawn was an annoying, erm, person.
 
I don't in general like people who makes other cry on purpose. Even though it's just in the show, I really felt bad. I would sooo have smacked Willow...If she weren't all veiny, and evil ^^'


But keeping in mind how she had her evil fase, I think she did a good job. She knew just what to say to make Dawn sad. Bad Willow!
 
haha i thought it was great i must admit dawn wasnt one of my favourite characters at times she got really annoying nad stuck up sometimes. like when she cracks the $hits, it annoys me so bad i just wonna punch but there are time when i love her to bits
 
I agree with the original idea.... Dawn was becoming too whiny and annoying in season six, i thought her emotions were too volatile, but she got much better in season 7!

I have never really been much of a Dawn fan and although im not upset seeing her all sad i will agree with fact that i did not like this scene as Willow was not Willow to me. I love Willow and she is my favourite character but i really did not like seeing her when she was all intoxicated by the magic.
 
I didn't like it... There were times Dawn got on my nerves, but I still didn't want to see Willow, whom she had always thought of as kinda like her big sister, acting that way toward her. 🙁
