Willow= Goddess

willow became a goddess at the end of series 7 but what does that mean, does it mean she can use her magick without endangering herself now or what?
 
I always have wondered about this. I don't know if it means she's basically immortal (since she's so ubered). Or that she can't hurt anyone, only use defensive or "good" magick. I don't know..........
 
I don't think she really became a goddess. I think Kennedy was just saying that, like when a girl might call her boyfriend "my hero" for opening a jar or whatever, it was just a way of expressing her emotions at the moment. We can hardly consider Kennedy an expert on the ramifications of spells, or anything about spells. She had never seen Willow do major magic before, and just was overwhelmed by what she had just seen and what she was feeling. Being so close to Willow, she probably felt the brunt of the magic that was being discharged, leaving her breathless and flushed with power.
 
No, I never truly considered her a "goddess" as most people think of what a goddess is. But even if Willow weren't
"technically" a goddess, I suppose she was probably more powerful than she had ever been. I would consider the spell to be a huge turningpoint for her magickwise.
 
I think she isn't a godess but shes more like a white witch. Like at the end of season 6 she was a dark witch, doing dark magicks and all that, but after doing the slayer spell thing it made her the complete opposite of that so therfore she's a white witch.
 
oh thanks for the link. Yeah, I don't think she was literally a goddess, I think that was just Kennedy calling her that. She didn't stay all white haired and everything right? She went back to normal.

i totaly agree with that.......because to them willow was a goddess for doing that
 
I haven't really thought about this. When I saw Chosen I didn't think Willow became a goddess for real.. But later I've heard a lot of people say that she did.Now that I think about it I think it would be weird if she was a goddess, I'd rather want her to be "just Willow".

You make a good point and I totally agree with you. Just because Kennedy sayd that doesn't mean Willow is a goddess, liek you said she could've just said it in the moment, becuase that was she felt that Willow was at the time. And besides what makes Kennedy a expert on the ranking of peple? :hmm:
