I personally think that willow is the most powerful person, i mean shes the only good character with the power to destroy the world. And we've all seen that even when all the other characters where at there most powerful e.g. Giles with the covens powers, anya as a vengeance demon they still couldn't even touch dark willow.
She will definetly be the one who goes to the best hevaen dimension, cos there are apparently 1000s according to Tara. i mean she saved angel so everyone he saves adds to her karma type thing and angel saved Fred who became illyria so everyone Fred/ illyria saves or saved adds to willows karma thing. also cos of willow connor was born so therefore everyone he saves adds to her karma reward.
Willow has also saved Buffy three times- when she went into the coma, when she died and when she went to see the shadow men so therefore everyone buffy saved from the point she went into the coma adds to her karma. And how can we forget the fact she awakend hundreds if not 100s of potential slayes who will save the world countless times.
In fact if you think about it every champion in the world apart from faith wouldn't be there if it wernt for Willow!!!therefore Willow really is a Goddess, i wouldt be surprised if she had her own heaven demension, i just think we didnt c enuf of willow using magic- she could killed that first uba vamp wid out battin her eyelids it just wdnt hav made gr8 tv!"!!!

As I said somewhere else.

Willow Willow,
You're so delicous,
I love you more then all the other witches!

But seriously Willow did do a lot of good but also bad. But in an almost clichéd way she got over it and became better for it. And she is more powerful then anyone else, but then again her abilities are far more varied then Buffy's. Buffy can kick and punch like mad and she may be more powerful but Willow's ability to take down the Earth may seem more powerful. Depends how you see things.

Huh, I never really thought about the whole adding to her karma points with all the things she has done. But yes I totally agree that Willow is the most powerful person on buffy.

Don't forget about Willow's crimes. She has committed some major ones. Nor was it ever proved that she was more powerful than the Shadowmen. She wasn't able to end the Slayer line.

She commited one real crime- killing warren and lets face it who liked warren- he got what he deserved. and buffy beat the shadowmen but she couldn't beat willow, no 1 could. Also the reason she didnt end the slayer line is because she wasn't trying to but she did amplify the slayer lines power by 100s maybe 1000s which the shadowmen probably couldn't have done, if they could why didn't they. also the shadowmen couldn't really have had any power or they would have rid the world of demons themselves and also they didn't use magick to create the slayer they used the power of demon which is just borrowed power not real power like willows.

Willow really is powerful. but i don't know if she's the most powerfull one...Willow has made a few mistakes, most of them cos the magics took over her (like doing that forgetting spell on Tara, almost killing Dawn, and killing Warren)...but that's cos she's also human. I think Willow became too powerful too fast, and that's why it took over...Anyway, what i'm trying to say is, without her friends, Willow wouldn't have been as powerful, and her friends wouldn't be as powerful without her.
So, almost as I said in the other thread, Willow is powerfull on her own, but with her friends she is even more.

She's definitely powerful....I agree that friends helped her control her actions, but we all know the truth-she kicked Buffy's @ss-The Slayer's @aa and that means something🙂

yeah she did...But in the end a little love from Xander broke her down! Which isn't a bad thing really...
but please don't pay attention to what I'm saying! It's over 2 i the morning, and I should get to bed now...

it didnt break her down it made her come to terms with her feelings, brought her back, cos deep down she wanted to comeback otherwise he wouldb=nt have had a chance

Yeah...that's what i was trying to say the other night, but was too tired to find the right words! lol
Willow is my fave character, but if she's the most powerful I wouldn't really know...and I don't really think it matters either. She's great if she's the most powerfull, 2nd most powerful, or even if she's 10th most powerful!

OK everyone i have decieded to settle this once and for all by holding a buffy/angel tournament where most of the characters in buffyverse compete against each other to become the slayerette champion of the buffyverse!!!

I don't think shes saved the world the most out of the characters on the show or the world.

Buffy has hands down saved the world alot more than Willow has. True that Willow helped in most of them, but Willow would not be where she is today without Buffy! Plus Buffy saved the world everyday if you think about it, far more times then Willow. See Willow helped out in a big fights as did Buffy, but Buffy fought the fights that stopped the big fights from occuring.

Now as to her having saved the world more than anyonelse ever, I totally disagree. There are countless slayers and champions that exist in the Buffyverse and we know nothing about them. They could have did far more.

And as to your karma thing, didn't Buffy save the life of Willow in Welcome to the Hellmouth and wouldn't all Willow's karma gotto Buffy? So then Buffy would be the leader!

Willow would have been dead without Buffy, and Buffy would have been dead without Willow.
That's the thing I love the most about Btvs, they're all powerfull in their own ways, but none of them would be much without each other!None of them would be alive without each other!

Isn't the show supposed to be about friendship and hope? wouldn't that mean that they wouldn't be much without each other. Left to themselves, I don't think they'd have the support/strength to accomplish as much as they did.

I guess, if it came down to it, I'd say Buffy is the strongest based on character. I mean, she is totally the person who does the "right" thing which many times was the hardest. Look at how Wil reacted after Tara died... Could she have killed Tara if it meant saving the world? Buffy killed Angel AND she couldn't kill Ben even though it was partly his fault that Dawn could have died. Buffy made the hard decisions though they may not have been what she wanted.
