Willow is pathetic!

::nono1::Willow is really not pathetic! She was probably just afraid to use magic again after the whole addiction thing. So can we please back off people!::grrr::
 
willow needs to start kicking some major demon booty with her magicks.

i like my willow tough and casting spells!

Just in case anyone hasn't seen the episode yet:

Am I the only one to notice that the whole thing was planned and that Willow wasn't supposed to use magic?

The barrier failed so they could lure Mr. Ubervamp to the construction site, at which location Buffy was going to kick his arse on her own as a morale boost to the SIT's. Willow not using magic had nothing to do with not being able to or being afraid to do so. It'd have simply screwed up their whole plan.
 
I considered that as well, they did obviously mean for the barrier to temporarily slow it down though. So I was a little up in the air about the whole thing. That's basically my opinion of the whole episode.

They needed the barrier to hold the Ubervamp in the house while dealing with the ninja's outside, and to make sure that it had seen where they went, so that it could follow them.

Which is exactly what it did 🙂

I agree with you. She was just afraid if she use magic again, she was not going to control it and she might be all evil again.
