Willow killing Warren

I hated him. I don't see anything wrong with Willow killing him and think the rest of the gang should get rid of their no killing humans rule. Some humans are just as bad as demons soul or not.

Wow. The thing is, who gets to decide who lives or dies? When someone is allowed to kill they eventually become more comfortable with it and begin to do it more easily. That's when humans lose who they are and truly become monsters. The Scoobies and the Fang Gang (well not really the FG) didn't kill humans because that would make them the same as the demons they fight

This, a million times this. Once you give up the concept of universal and irrevocable human rights, you're opening Pandora's Box.

Saying "oh but he's just a murderer, who cares if we kill him" puts one on shaky ground indeed if one then goes go to criticize a Klansman for "oh but that one's just a N-word" or a Nazi for "oh but that one's just a Jew". In their own reasoning, that's just as solid a reason for considering their victims less than human and thus, undeserving of the right to live and remain physically unhurt. I don't see why one should be justified if the other isn't; and as racism is rightly considered atrocious, then so is the death penalty.

Of course Willow was wrong in killing Warren, even if he was a murderously sociopathic jerk.

My main concern was actually Willow more than anything else. As it's been said, killing Warren won't bring Tara back, but the magic she is using would only change her for the worse. If I were in Buffy or Xander's position, I'd also try to save Willow from herself (although Xander does make a chase for killing Warren), more than any categorical imperative, the consequences, both emotionally and mystically, is what troubles me the most.
