Willow next season?

SPOILER..
.
.
.
.
.According to Joss Wheadon, series 7 is going back as it was in series' 1-3,as series 6 was only focusing mainly on the gang growning as people and learning new skills,in series 7 we can expect to see the gang return to normal and there will be more action as it was in series' 1-3,and that DOESN'T include bitch drusilla coming back and turning Spike again, sorry if someone has already stated this fact, but i didn't have chance to read all the replys as i am in a hurry.

I thought that Giles' spell took away all of her powers? I read something from Joss along that line...that she would lose her powers because she couldn't control it. Anyway, I like the old Willow better. Witch Willow and witchcraft started to be so passe'

when she stole his powers it sparked her humanity which in turn allowed her to take control of her the evil magicks when Xander was talking to her on the cliff...she still has the ability but i think that Giles, and the gang will bind her from doing harm to innocents and her self, thus not allowing her to kill humans but still allow her to use her magic for good.

Who said suicide is necessarily a dark, connoting evil or horrific experience? Further more Joss is Joss or course, no promises till airdate. But more to my point, Willow committing suicide would be an ideal way to finish the last season as she for me perfects the show, not Buffy. I mean with all programs I've liked, withdrawal symptoms are concurrent, so suicide"¦ well apart from a sadness would be like a means to an end, a calming transition into the void, laying a restless soul to sleep, etc"¦ etc. I mean how many times have you watched a show and it's ended without even ending? For me, far too many times.

Without insinuating a morbid sense of depravity...
No i'd have to say that the only sense i got was one it sounds like you have very low self esteem and are in need of therapy, and then a VERY strong morbid inclination to the "AHHH" degree...

Right, well my "very low self esteem" appreciates the note.

As for more pressing issues, i think you make a good point concerning how the group should handle Willow. It's quite known from past characters that death leads to this whole "body count" scenario, so i agree the gang should at least constrain what powers, if any she has left. That way, speaking from within the show, she'd be far less prone to crossroad the route Faith went.

I agree also. But I don't think that she will commit suicide because I agree with it not being a dark thing but it would be a devastating blow to the rest of the characters and that would be something that Joss wants to forego in the next season.

If they let willow die, then the whole show will be ruined. Cause in my opinion willow is in the show from the start and is the most interesting character. And Willow should still have powers and then sometimes she freaks out and goes evil again or something like that.

revenge demon is right...I was watching SMG on an interview and they asked her what next season would be like...Of course she said she really doesn't know and things like that but she did say that is wasn't going to be all dark and gloomy like this season...she said it is going to be more of Buffy realizing who she is for herself and things like that...I really don't think that Willow will kill herself.....whatever it is ....it will be good...i mean come on...it's BUFFY we're talking about!
😀

She killed Rack, the wizard who could suck the powers of witches and whatnot. Remember?

of ocurse she has been there since the very first episode I don't think will kill her off from the series
