I think my username sums up my thoughts on Willow. She's always been my favorite.
That being said, I had a lot of disappointment in her in s7. It's like the writers decided that now was when killing someone would completely change you. I didn't change anyone else. Didn't even phase Giles! But Willow, it crushed her completely. I understand that some of that is the pain of losing Tara, but she was so far off from who she was. Even her sense of humor is pretty much gone. She's become this sniveling child so far from what she was before. Buffy's line, a wicca who won't-a, bothered me too. And Willow saying she couldn't even do locator spells without getting dark roots might have been a try at sarcasm, but it was a poor one at that. There's nothing evil about locator spells. It just makes me really sad that we finally saw Willow come out of her shell to just be put into several others.
And her being with Kennedy. That really bothers me. Kennedy was so far away from the gentleness of Tara, and the quiet strength of Oz. She was an outspoken, spoiled brat. I couldn't stand her. She was just a rebound, but in the s8 comics, they make her out to be this great love that Willow can't live with out. I don't know about any of you, but my rebound relationships have NEVER worked out... I don't see Killow lasting as long as the comics would have you believe they did.
