What if Buffy dressed as Xena or somebody else like Cordy?

I'm talking about the episode ''Halloween''. I understand that maybe they wanted Buffy to be the helpless one when they had this opportunity but I think it would have been pretty neat. 🙂

I do think it would have been very cool if she dressed up like someone like Cordy and became the opposite of what she was. 🙂

Obviously, Ethan Raynes manipulated Buffy into buying that costume for the specific reason that she would be helpless, but, yeah, it would have been cool if she'd dressed like some other super heroic woman (I would NEVER suggest Vampirella or Red Sonja), but I'm wondering just how far the spell could have gone. For instance, if she had dressed like Supergirl, would she actually have been able to fly?

They essentially repeat the storyline in the Angel comic "Last Angel in Hell" (which, for those curious about reading it, is one of the funniest BTVS comics ever) when Angel and Spike go out in search of some relic located at a comic-con like event. The exact same idol is used (not sure if it's a new one or the repaired old one) and the spell turns everyone dressed at comic-con into what they came as, flight and other assorted powers and all. It's a really fun read.

I remember that issue. It was also, I think, the one where a movie was made about Angel and Spike, with Nicholas Cage playing Angel and Spike being played by a woman ( can't remember who) and they were supposed to be lovers.

I haven't been able to watch "National Treasure" since without laughing.

I get why Buffy was who she was for Halloween, since it was a complete opposite of who she was in real life. But I would have LOVED to see her dress up like Xena! I even once made a graphic where Buffy is wearing Xena's outfit 'cause I wanted to see what it could look like. 🙂
