Willow vs. Illyria

I haven't seen this topic anywhere on the forums, but if I happened to miss it and it was already discussed I apologize.

If it ever came down to it, in a battle who do you think would come out on top?

Willow----either dark or just super juiced with magic,

Illyria----before her powers were diminished.


??? They are both super powerful in their own ways. I think Illyria would have had an advantage, considering her age, demeanor and origin; however, Willow's power seems to increase exponentially depending on her adversary. I love them both too, so it is hard for me to make a decision. I love Willow more because she is Willow, but in my opinion they are pretty equal power-wise.


Opinions?
 
Well the only way it'd be fair if it was dark Willow. Also correct me if I'm wrong but didn't she slowly loose some of her power's as well?
 
Hmm...Tough one. If it was Dark Willow, I'd probably say Willow. Otherwise, I'd say Illyria. But, really, I have no clue how that fight would turn out. Let's get Joss to write into one of the comics! 😉
 
I think if it was Willow in season 8, she'd definitely beat Illyria...I mean, at this point, it seems like she can do pretty much anything. The only people who seem to be any match for her are other mega-witches.

Still, if it was Dark Willow, it'd be a more fair fight because, even though she's got tons of power when she's all juiced up, it diminishes fairly quickly and any old anti-magic spell can stop her. As far as we know, Illyria, on the other hand, could keep going at full power forever. Plus, she has those nifty time-manipulating abilities (then again, Willow could probably find a spell to do that.) I can't really see how that fight would turn out, though...like BOF said, let Joss write it into the comics.
