Willow's Magick, Tara's blunder

K. Here i go. I'm sorta worried about what will happen to the scobbey gang since willow is giving up magick. I mean, they all were shocked at her when she told them she hadn't through all her magick stuff out. I understood why she kept it, just incase of an emergency. Then Tara made the blunder of almost killing everyone by releasing the demon the the sord. No one even said anything to her. But if willow had done it they would have been all on her case. So what happens if they need magick in a future episode. Tara might be able to pull it off but i really dought it. I know Amy won't help them. So will they force Willow?? Then what happens if she can't stop?? What happens if they come up against another powerful witch. Will willow use her magick. Or will she be to afraid like in the recent episode (forgot the name). I really think will should stay a witch. What about the rest of u??
 
I think she should too...She was going a lil overboard before but...if she would have used her magick in the last ep i think she could have helped them...Shes more powerful than Tara.
 
In a way I agree and a way I disagree. For now it is much too soon for Willow to be going back to magic since she's still dealing with addiction issues. But I think that in the future she might be able to go back to magic because maybe in the future she'll be able to use it responsibly. ^_^ Until then it looks like Tara is going to have to take over the magic end and while she's not all that powerful I suspose hopefully she'll be powerful enough for the time being

The Scoobies shouldn't blame Tara for releasing Sword Demon. She was just trying to get them outta the house. Buffy should've never kept the sword. In fact, she should've destroyed it back in the cemetery. It really sucks that Willow can't control her magic. Now, the only good witch they have is Tara, and obviously not as strong as illow. I'm also worried that Tara's gonna get hurt, even..well...you know?
 
I agree that its not Tara's fault for releasing the demon from the sword. She had no way of knowing she would be releasing a demon that she didn't know about from a sword she didnt know existed. She's not prescient. Not even Buffy knew that was where the demon went after she skewered it.

As for Willow's magic "addiction" I think it would be a greater personal triumph for Willow if she learned to master her magic again instead of give it up completely. I think it would show more self-control on her part. Besides, her magic has been essential for stopping the big bads of the last two seasons and for the sake of her friends she should feel compelled to learn how to properly harness her power.

does noone remember all the times when the magic was life saving ie. anytime Glory was involved, there was none of this 'ooh your doing too many 'stopping the evil hell god' spells
but then she takes dawny someplace bad, which, hello she was manging to do just fine by herself ie. 'parking with vamps' and all hell breaks loose on her
its all just a bit didge *hypocritical mumbling*

If they are going to play this as a true addiction then Willow can never go back to using magic. She will never be able to control it. But, this is not the real world, so I'm sure that eventually Willow will be able to control her use of magic.
 
I think maybe willow just needs a break from magick and then she can start off slow again or something. she has a lot of potential as a wicca and i think they should show that a bit more. someday the scooby gang may need her and tara isnt always gonna be right there to help them.

I think i can see a really cliff hanger bit when there in deep trouble and. Buffy will be all like You have to you use it.
And willow will be like. No I can't use it you know what will happen. and then buffy will be like This is important. and then willow uses it. Well I hope so.
 
I dont think we have seen the last of Wilow using magic. the question is will it be for good or bad......................?

anyhoo bring on the magic, maybe she could teach dawny, i mean shes mystical shes gotta have some kind of power source they could tap into

ooo, that would be cool if dawn could have powers cause she's the key, plus she was interested in spells before and she's good freinds with tara
 
hmmm, Dawn with Magic... sounds dangerous, and therfore a little repetitive
