Willow's violation

I didn't lose any respect for Willow when she took Dawn to Rack or put the spells on Tara, like some of you said before me I felt more sorry for her and was afraid of how far she would take it with the magics. I didn't think it was right in any way to do the things she did but it was an addiction that had begun to take control of her.

She didnt realise what she was doing wrong. i didnt lose respect for her. it was sad more than anything else cos you knew it was gonna go wrong. something bad was gonna happen.

I didn't lose respect for Willow but it did make me begin to doubt her. I started to question her judgement. I don't think she intended to hurt Tara but i think she wanted to get things back to normal as she didn't want to argue with her anymore. I know it was a wrong thing for her to do but she was so taken over by her addiction that she couldn't see how wrong it was.

Willow was addicted to Magic at the time. Of course that her actions were not the best, but I think that she had good intentions in mind.

I understand why she did it, but that does not mean that I think it was the right thing to do. Of course I think that she should have tried a different way to work out her problems, but that was the only thing that she could think of at that point and time. Plus, she wasn't even thinking clearly.

Willow

Willow started losing respect when she started doing magic

I wouldn't say it was when she started doing Magic.
I think it happened when she believed she had everything.
The loving partner, the good group of friends, the promising college course, the certain amount of magical ability......
It definately didn't start becoming an abuse of magic until season 5.

Yeah to be fair she started with the magic really early in the show. I guess when something like an addiction starts becoming more important, you automatically lose respect for everything else.

I never lost respect for Willow, I agree with the others that it was more of a disapointing thing. And as for her look of contentment on her face it kind of didn't really bother me so much because although wrong. I completely understand why she did it. She did it for love, to keep her relationship with Tara positive and in her eyes that was right.

On the other hand, and this might be a bit contradictory but, what was most disappointing of all was that she did it to begin with especially after what Glory did to Tara (as Tara pointed out) it was all wrong but all for love...so lets look the other way 😉.

yeah, when willow did that spell on tara i was like nooooooooooo what are you doing!!!! i didnt feel haterd towards her.....but did loose some respect for her....but the power addiction was taking over her getting a tighter grip on her ....

i didn't lose respect for willow at all...i was upset that she did that to tara but she was afraid of loosing her and since she was an addict magic was the first thing to come to mind when she had to solve the problem even tho i felt really really bad for tara i still can't hate willow for what she did.

joss is a GENIUS

I think that Willow did what she did with good intentions...that doesn't make it right, but it would have been way worse if she had done it for some kind of mean or evil purpose. I didn't lose any respect for her....just was disappointed in her.

willow just wanted things to be ok, and she thought the qucikest way was magic......( for example using magic on her laptop because it took to long......) she was addicted to it..... love willow no matter what... 😀
