Anyone watching this year?

Federer, Djokovic and (my personal fave) Garbine Muguruza are all playing today.

I've watched a bit this morning and will watch later. Love a bit of tennis. Well, love most sports. I've gone off Djokovic recently, and Federer is past his best, but of course I'll be supporting Murray.

I can't Djokovic! He's becoming even more boring than Federer. They're both so robotic.
I'm a very casual tennis fan. As in if it happens to be on TV and the match is great I'll keep watching. I remember watching more Wimbledon at school / uni when I had more time off during the day. I'll go out on a limb though and predict a Djokovic win.

I watched Wimbledon when I was younger because it would be on during the school holidays, and now there's actually one of my countrymen playing I can't watch it because adult responsibilities. 😛

You can't disown Tim now that Andy wins things!
I'm rooting for Querrey! USA! USA!

Anyone's better than Djokovic.

Querrey about to serve for the match and the rain's started!

I just had a watch of that American guy shouting at the umpire! CRINGE! 😀 I thought outbursts like that weren't permitted in tennis?

I too watch Tennis causally. Watch Wimbledon every year but not seen any this year yet. I problaby will watch some when I get a chance, except Laura Robson is hot and she's out now so I might not bother😉

Tsonga v Murray should be a good match. If he were playing anyone else I'd be supporting Tsonga, so this is a tough watch for me.

Federrer did so well this afternoon, coming back from two sets down, wonder if he can go all the way again this year.

Yeah, I like Tsonga too. Kinda want him to win as the underdog. Would be great to see him win the whole thing.

Got to support Murray all the way. Now Djokovic is out, see a Murray v Federrer final, and Murray will just edge it (I hope) 🙂

I just think it's boring seeing the same people win every year. It's always fun seeing the top seeded go out. The year Goran Ivanišević won as a wildcard was effin' amazing.

Aw I loved Goran, he was like a big teddybear

I remember Goran playing Henman in the quarter or semi finals, and although most of the Brits would usually be supporting Tim, everyone was cheering for Goran. He was such a great character and it meant so much to him. One of the best winners ever 🙂

Oh yeah you really old!
I do wonder if that early tournament upset will prove to be a good or bad thing for the tournament. If it opens the door for one of the other big hitters to win it then it won't be as good as if someone unexpected wins.

Hope that Kerber wins the final on Saturday. Keep Williams hanging on a bit longer for that piece of history. Something poetic to the fact that its another German who stands in the way of her and Greaths record.

C'mon Kerber. Fingers crossed for you, girl.

I've actually warmed to the Williams sisters over the years, but I'm enjoying the new blood more. Kerber has had a great tournament, she's so fast.

I agree. Would love Kerber to win. Its been too long since we've had a German winner and it would be a feather in her cap to block such a great player. Expect this final to be much closer than the one tomorrow.

Impressive performance by Williams. She was worthy winner although Kerber really pushed her in the second set. Shouldn't be too long before the German wins Wimbledon.
