Windows Movie Maker question

Another thread by me asking for help. Meh, oh well. In windows movie maker, what video formats can you upload (Not sure if I'm wording things right, lol). 'Cause I was downloading videos from limewire, and most of them are avi or mpg can you put them in WMM? I can't find out anywhere. Anyone know?

I think you can, I think I don't use anything but .avi in WMM
mpg I don't know about, but if it doesn't work (or any other that doesn't work) try converting it. There are free programmes on the internet that can get it done for you.

I have that same problem, the music files should work if you transfer them to mp3

I know Movie Maker doesn't work with .mov, which posed quite a few problems for me once. I tried a converter, which seemed to work, but when I burned the final project to DVD, all the converted video files were half lime green. That was troublesome!
