wisest character

We already have a thread for the smartest character, but wise is something completly different. With wise I mean they're like the godfather of the series. Whenever you need advice on something technical, scientific or something to do with demon (except the ones ur dating) you go to the brainy ones, the smart ones. But otherwise you go to the wise character, so what's ur top5.

Mine would be:

1. Tara
2. Buffy
3. Connor
4. Giles
5. Xander
 
Wisdom, huh? There's a lot of knowledge, and experience. Cleverness and ingenuity too. But this is all I've been able to scrounge up in the wisdom department:

Sorry. I just don't see a wise sage (old or otherwise) in the mix.
 
Haven't got a top five but Oz always seemed to me to have a wise old head stuck on his young body.
 
I can't really come up with an order, as one would seek at different members of the gang for different things, but the people I would seek out would be:

Tara
Giles
Willow (pre- S5)
Oz
Wesley
(In no specific order)
 
Well, from what I have percieved I would say that it's one of the following...

Giles
Tara
Oz
Spike

...at least from what WISDOM means to me...it's really hard to say since every character has displayed irrasionality and the very LACK of wisdom...but when it came to certain situations they rang a bell...
 
This is a really good one. I agree with you Rayne very much. When I think of wisdom one of the first things that comes to mind is intuition. So I would have to rate as follows,

Giles
Angel
Buffy
Tara
Spike
 
Hmm... I hadn't thought about Spike much, but now that you bring it up... he did see into Buffy more than pretty much everyone else (Tara could as well).
