Anyone thinking of going? I might have a shot of going to this, actually. I have family and friends in Chicago, and if I get this job I'm hoping for, I won't start until August...meaning, I could maybe take a little trip down to Chicago to "visit family" ***coughgetmyfangirloncough***

I saw Jacqui post from Nick's Twitter account about this this morning... I SO want to go!! But I'd feel rediculous being there 'cause I don't read the comics. 🙁

The tickets for this thing are actually not that unreasonable... A VIP pass for the weekend is only $150 for the 4 days! 🙂 But I'd also have to get a hotel room and pay for gas/food... Yikes. 🙁

Aw, you make me feel almost famous.

And you should go! It's not just for comic fans. There are going to be a number of guests there from different avenues. Plus, you'll make me feel less out of place. 🙂

LOL Well I'm definitely thinking about it... I've already told my hubby I'd love to go. He's a big comic nerd, so he said he'd love to go... The only issue would be getting a babysitter. 🙁

If I get this job I'm interviewing for today, (cross your fingers!) it doesn't start until Sept. 1st, so I think I could actually go! Of course, it all depends on money, but if I get more hours in July and save...

I have a friend I could stay with in Chicago, so all I'd have to pay for are tickets and plane fare...

Question: I've never been to a big convention like this; do I need to buy a seperate ticket to be able to get autographs?
