Wolf Lake & Hex - how good are they?

Wolf Lake and Hex are both out on DVD. They look interesting, so I'm interested. lol. Maybe I'll buy them, but I need to know a little bit more. How good are they? Are they worth buying?
 
I don't know about Wolf Lake... but I definitely plan on owning HEX myself one day. The second season is rather different from the first season, but both are really good and the comparison with Buffy IS sort of valid. There are obvious difference, cause it's not an imitation, but the level is quite high. Although some people have to ease into it.

If you want to know more about HEX you could also visit After-Darkness (it's a board about SuperNatural and SciFi stuff, by Buffy Summers).
 
Yeah, I heard it had some things in common with Buffy. That's why I decided to check it out. Thanks for the link! 🙂
 
Hex is probably my very favorite show that is on the air currently, and it's the only one that I...um...get through untraditional means 😉

It is so so so good. I was hooked from the first episode. It's not really like Buffy in that it could be called a knock off or anything like that, but I think Buffy fans will like it and it does have some things in common like strong female characters etc (but without being preachy about it either).

Wolf Lake I never watched. Hey maybe that's the one I was thinking of that has Dave from Invasion on it that we were talking about in the Dead Like Me thread on After-Darkness. Lol.
 
Wolf Lake is out on dvd? It was an intresting concept, and from what I saw from the show, very sexual aswell(atleast the episode I saw). Maybe if I see it, ill pick it up.

Never seen Hex, to bad we dont get in the US on regular tv.
 
You have to check out Hex it rocks! It is not the same as Buffy, but it would fall into the same genre of show!
