Has anyone here ever heard of or seen The Tribe?
It's on WAM in USA, it was on Channel 5 in England...And NRK in Norway, but I doubt there are many other norwegians here...Not sure which channels it's on in other countries. But anyway, anyone ever heard of or seen it? Cos it's my favourite tv-show, even before Buffy. Although that seems to be changing now...

Here's the IMDb entry for "The Tribe". It sounds like a fairly tried and tested sci-fi plot but the first reviewer seemed to like it.

Sounds almost like the kind of classy kids' show the BBC occasionally manage to come up with. Anyone remember Tripods?

It's really badly described in that link...
I'll try to explain it better:
A virus has killed all the adults (every teenagers dream it seems! lol), and the kids have to survive on their own. They kinda have to go back to basics, with no electricity. The first seasons are the best ones in my and most other tribe fans opinions, cos then it's more about surviving, they have to fight and trade for food, they build a water filter to get clean water, they build a battery charger to get batteries to trade with. Batteries is like the most valuable thing in their world.
One of the best things with The Tribe is their clothes and make up! It's can get so crazy sometimes!
In season 4 things start going down, when a new tribe comes called the Techno's who bring technology and electricity. And virtual reality. And season 5 is a little too much soap-like in my opinion...But it's still a great show though. Everyone who has the chance to watch it should! it's great, and very addictive, so your warned!
I didn't desribe it that well, I'm no good at describing things like that...
 
i'm sorry i've never heard about it, but if it is really a good series then it'll never get here, or if it get, it'll be probably put in a 2/3am schedual and stopped in the midlle of the season::rm::.. prt sucks when it cames to buying good series..

I watched it once, but it didnt 'tickle my fancy' lol...
Not my thing basically...
 
JustAnnie-the guys I have seen there were pretty handsome.. can understand why you like that show so much🙂

The show has alot more then handsome guys...Oh, who am I kidding, yeah, that's one of the biggest reasons I love it! There's Jack, Lex, Ved, Mega, Bray...Lots of different guys for all tastes! 😀
 
Actually, like Lee mentioned, I used to watch this show religously. But ever since WAM stopped showing new episodes, I sort of got disinterested. But it's still a good show ... bad acting, but a good show nonetheless. 😀
 
Pretty cool show. For seasons 4 and 5 i tried to watch them on channel 5 but the seasons are so damn long! I lose interest after a while.
