What are you sick of hearing people say?

I'm going with lol, when its spoken outloud. Its just fine on the internet, but seriously sounds stupid when spoken.

"Not my cup of tea." Long story, but it's a serious pet peeve of mine now.

do you have an aversion to tea? or do you fear cups? what is it called when you have a fear of cups?
I don't know about certain phrases, but I think saying 'awesome' in a Scottish accent is just wrong. Come on now, it just sounds silly.

shut it AWESOME
My cousin says 'lol' outloud and I seriously want to strangle her when she does it. I've noticed that I use it quite a lot online, and annoy myself so I'm trying to not type it. Hmm 'to be quite frank' irratates me a little because someone at work says it in almost every sentance. That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there's a lot more.

Haha one of my best friends used to say 'lol' outloud and it really annoyed me as well!
work.

scobro agrees: do you have an aversion to tea? or do you fear cups? what is it called when you have a fear of cups?
If my sources are correct (thank you, Shempy :kissie: ) it should be called kylikophobia.

(You knew I was gonna answer to that, didn't ya?)

I was gonna go with cup-phobia, but yours sounds better.
I would like proof. linakge? especially considering I know how well FauxShemp likes to invent alaphabetizers.

Yes, me too now. Google showed 0 links while searching and didn´t even give an alternative spelling choice. Hmmm.

Don´t blame me! He brought it up,

Eggxactamundo! making bogus phobias: Dont try this at home!
"Don't try this at home".

Yes, I will try to ride a bike on a cliff in the middle of a storm and jump from the bike's seat through a fire while wearing nothing but boots.

Sadly not everyone have the common sense one would think/hope.
Oh great! add that spolierage AFTER I rep you.. way to THROW ME UNDER THE BUS hahahah

"You know." you know, people who just, you know, keep saying "you know" all of the tim, sort of like, you know, they have to be sore that you...know.

("Bangel," too, but, you know, that's just me and several million other Buffy fans. What do we know, you know?)

Oh bugger. I can't stop saying that, you know?
You know WA, what I dislike worse than that is "um", and you hear CEOs of large companies say um, all the time. Jerry Jones was giving one impromptu interview last week and at least every fourth word out of his mouth was um.

I can live with 'you know', as I mostly hear it in terms of athletes, but 'um' is my pet peeve.

Seriously.

And I know I say that far too often. It just slips out. Like I have no control over what comes out of my mouth. Seriously 😛
