Tomorrow when the War began series (although I still havent finished the Ellie Chronicles)

A Jodi Picoult one from the street library. Forgettable (that is not the title)

People of the Book... Been reading it for a few years haha this is a problem I have now with something I like, I try to slow myself down or I devour everything and then get sad there is none of the good left. So Im halfway through this 3 years in lol

Not Tomorrow when the War Began, the tv series was lame. Hmm I might have to think on this, netflix has done a few now too. I loved The 100 but never read the books.

Last book you couldn't finish
I dont remember the title again, it was one about old school friends meeting up at a funeral decades after some shared secret. Everyone was so boring. Took too long to get to the point and I didnt care what the secret was. It went back to the street library.

Loved the Hunger Games series. Also the Murder she wrote series. Oh, or maybe some V.C. Andrews The Casteel saga

Oh wow that’s a shame about Shining and Pet Sematary! They’re so good! (If sad and depressing)
  1. Favourite childhood book? - Warriors: Into the Wild. These were the books that really got me into reading.
  2. Favourite series of books? - This one's tough to answer. I still have a lot of appreciation for the first arc of the Warriors series, but I also really love the Hunger Games series.
  3. Last book you read? - I think it was Blood & Fog. I really enjoyed the BB bookclub, I hope we get to do another one soon!
  4. Current book you're reading? - I've been reading Stephen King's IT since November, and I'm only halfways through it. I'm really enjoying it so far, I'm just having to read it in chunks.
  5. Favourite movie based on a book? - Misery, by Stephen King! It's my favorite novel of his and the best film adaptation of one of his books, at least in my opinion.
  6. Favourite TV series based on a book? - Not sure about this one. I don't watch many shows that are based on books (at least, not that I'm aware of), but I'll take recommendations.
  7. Last book you couldn't finish? - Don't remember what it was called, but it was a book that I found from a local author at a Comicon. It was too graphic for me.
  8. One book everyone else had read but you haven't? - I've missed out on some classics for sure, but I can't think of a specific book that I've skipped. I don't tend to focus on what's currently popular when I read, I just look for things that hold my interest (usually animal fantasy or horror).
  9. Book you really want to read? - I would really love to read all the Spike-centric BtVS novels, I just need to find/buy them first!
  10. Favourite book you read as an adult? - Probably King's Misery or Pet Cemetery. Both of those books had great impact and better established by love for horror novels.

Probably the Magic Treehouse series or Goosebumps. Goosebumps was rad 👌

Favourite series of books

Difficult choice. Probably the Star Wars: Aftermath trilogy. Very good character work and it felt very nice to read all three back to back.

I have this big hardcover tome containing all of Lovecraft’s works. Definitely want to read that!

I didn't read as a kid, only what we read in school. I liked "Hatchet" by Gary Paulson and "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle.
Favorite series of books?
Probably "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins, I've read it three times. Although, a recent series I read that I really liked was The Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians "The Titan's Curse" by Rick Riordan.
Current book you're reading?
Percy Jackson and the Olympians "The Battle of the Labyrinth" by Rick Riordan. Doing a re-read of the series. Also, two ongoing books; "Circe" by Madeline Miller and "The Jewel of the Seven Stars" by Bram Stoker.
Favorite movie based on a book?
Either "Mockingjay Part 1" from the Hunger Games, or one of the Harry Potter movies.
Favorite TV series based on a book?
"Game of Thrones"/ "House of the Dragon", but I've not read the books. I'm hoping the Percy Jackson show will be good.
Last book you couldn't finish?
I try to finish every book I start (eventually), but I completely gave up on "The Way of Kings" by Brandon Sanderson. I stopped reading "Red Rising" by Pierce Brown, but I have every intention of finishing it someday.

For a long time it was Harry Potter, but I finally read that a year and a half ago. Maybe "Game of Thrones" but I don't know A LOT of people that have read it.
Book you really want to read?
"The Fifth Season" by N.K. Jemisin. I really loved her Amazon Forward short story "Emergency Skin" and I've heard nothing but good things about her work.
Favorite book you read as an adult?
Most of the books I've read have been as an adult. But I would say an adult-ish themed book (cause I like YA and fantasy stuff) would be "The Last of the Moon Girls" by "Barbara Davis.

That's interesting. I have been reading "Circe" by Madeline Miller for almost two years now. lol. Not because I love it and want to savor it, but because it's not as good as I wanted it to be, so I take long breaks in between reading it. I'll read it for a few days and then stop for months. I'm also a slow reader and it's a book that you have to really pay attention to each word, or I'll be lost. So, it takes me like 30 minutes to read ten pages. lol.

This did turn up in the street library, and I left it there haha. I guess I didnt really want to read it after all. Took a few weeks to move on.

Still havent read Dune cos I cant get my hands on a copy! All the library copies are stupid graphic novels. No interest in that. I did try reading online but that disappeared a few chapters in. I'd rather read the physical book.
 
Mine was The Man without qualities - Musil, and no, I’ve tried to get a hold on it, but it was sold in volumes and it is hard to get all of the volumes. I find a lot of part 2 in used shops, never part 1

  7. Last book you couldn't finish - I almost never abandon a book, I struggle to the end no matter how much it sucks. I think Harry Potter 1 was the last, and it was the year it came out. All my friends were way into it but I thought it was boring and bad, so I switched to Fellowship of the Ring. Good choice.
