World clock, scary

Weird and freaky.
Weird in a way that you're just seeing the circle of life right there. As four people died, seven people were born. Gives you a strange feeling which I won't attempt to give an adjective too, hehe

It's based on averages. On average, so many people are born every minute, so many people die every minute, etc.

I found it fascinating, actually. A little annoyed about the population growth. Aren't there enough of us already?
 
I've seen one before that has the map of the whole globe and flashing lights where everyone is born and dying at the moment. It also had a bunch of numbers and some creepy music. Do you ever wonder what will happen once you're there long enough? I never stay enough to find out. I'm weird that way.

Actually, it makes me feel a little happier. Look at all of those horrible diseases and things... and yet look at the births and population growth. Humans just keep plugging along! We're so cool!

it's the abortion rate that's creepi-fying me out the most. it's going up so fast.

Wow that is really scary. It's not just the deaths, it's the type of deaths. Cancer, etc. Knowing these people died at a healthy age in their sleep is one thing. An illness makes it a million times worse to see.
