so who will you be suporting? do you like football ? or is it a tv waste of space? put corrie on ( uk soap prog) lol or is it a source of pride?

i my self will be getting a england shirt this week. and more than liky a flag flying from me bed room window 🙂 and when not workin il be havin a pint in pub wile watching match lol.

whats your view on wayne rooney? does it really matter if he doesnt play if his foot injery isnt heald in time ? why should we build up one player when weve got a full squad of great players ( beckam,lampard, gerard ect..)

oh yay! the world cup! i can't wait! love football (or soccer to those of you across the waters) and i will def be supporting England!
yes, i know i'm from Northern Ireland, but i've supported England for almost my entire life. (don't ask me why, it just sorta happened)
it would be great to have Rooney match fit in time for the first game, but honestly, if he isn't, we have other players who are as good as he is. we should have faith in them.

i won't buy a shirt, or hang a flag from my window, but i will be supporting them all the way!

come on England! WHOOP!

You can't only put four choices on a poll about the World Cup...

I'm backing England but I must admit I thought the same as BS, you can't only have 4 teams on the poll. What about Sweden, or Germany, etc etc.
 
This to me is a huge waste of time. But since I am going home to my families, who are all huuuge football freaks.. I'll probably watch some of it and start caring even though I don't want to 🙁
 
I think I won't have much time to watch it but I'll support france even though I don't agree with all the choices of the selector...
 
well of to a good start (well technicaly friendly match but what the hey) england 3 - hungary 1 🙂 let's hope we can do it in the world cup.. 🙂

I'm supporting England, despite the notable players left off the squad, but the Czech Republic is going to win. England has too many injuries - Rooney is done, he will in no way be match fit even if he manages to heal by the final. Michael Owen and John Terry are also not 100%. We need another striker than When-They-Take-The-Team-Photo-I-Have-To Crouch. And Sven's coming out saying Stevie G is like another striker is bollux - John Terry has a better chance of scoring for them (like he did today).

England isn't a better enough team from the side that played in the Euro 2004 in order to win it this year. Maybe if they were all healthy...
 
I will be supporting England, tho' I suspect I'll get to watch the games in the kitchen, as Mrs P hates footy...I really hope they do well this time but I have an awful feeling that they'll let me down again...all we can ask is that they all play to the best of their abilities and not give up like last time against Brazil.

Slightly off-topic but I reckon I must be the only member who can remember watching England win the World Cup, or any major trophy for that matter...
 
which i could remember mr pointy... but that was... erm... 20yrs before i was born....lol must have been a great atmosphere... id love to experience it
