although I am Australian, the Socceroos suck! No offence to my fellow Aussies that support the socceroos.. Australia has never been good at soccer.. and i am going for england!!!! I usually support Brazil as well... 😀

Can I just say? Why on earth do you call them the Soccer Roos! What's with that name! It's just sad! Who came up with that name? It makes me think of a load of Kangaroos playing football!

Also why do you all call it Soccer? It's just annoying! Anyone seen Green Street? That film just sums it up. When Pete shouts, "and stop calling it bloody soccer!" I just want to scream Yes!
 
okk..... well they can be called Soccer Roos if they wish, and the idea of kanagaroos playing footballs rather amusing lol its an acheivement for austrailia to get this far.
and americans and austrailans call it soccer coz they all ready have a game for the term football. a.k.a UK= rugby ( minus battle gear ) lol
 
The soccer vs football thing has been so overdone. No one really cares (or should care) anymore.

And American football and rugby are completely different games.
 
It is because we have so many types of football.. its not funny.. we have NRL, Union, AFL, Soccer, Futsal.. Its not confusing this way.. if you were an aussie you would get it lol.. you guys might.. its just to seperate the different games as they have differnt rules.

Yeah Germany won...Brazil wasn't in its best shape...maybe they wanted to be on the save side after their goal and didn't wnat to risk anything...but ronaldo could have moved a little more ;-)
 
England were crap. They won. woo hoo, and all that but P-lease. (Thats with an excentuated P)

I was impresed by Terry, as usual, his clearance when Robinson muffed up (which he did alot) was cheer worthy.
Gerard decided to wait till the last minute to actually do something. Thankfully he scored, securing a 2-0 victory. If he hadnt scored I think Trinidad and tobago might just have got a draw. There goal was awesome! even though it was disallowed, for a country I havnt heard of, you gotta give them some credit. Theyre pretty good.

Seriously I am losing Faith in the England team. Lennon and Terry are the only players I'm actually pleased with. I hope they improve their game when we move on to the bigger teams.
 
Ok, I'm gonna say this even though I know my boss (aka Buffy Summers) will fire me and ban me forever... I hate England!
Seriously, I believe they are evil, for real.

Um, anyways, I'm so nervous about Tuesday.. Today has been crazy, heh, but Tuesday will be... gah.....

only seen england match today, we could have scored alot more goals.... peter croutch..... lampard...... whats wrong with beckhams crosses..... we need to sort this out for sweden, but a good result and 2 good goals from croutch and gerard... but weres the robot.... lol 🙂

all i have to say on this matter is BRING ON SWEDEN !!!

i support England, but let's face it, they were lucky to win the match. they've been playing pretty bad...two matches we should have won with ease we won by luck alone. Lamps should have had a goal in tonight's match.
we need to sort out the problem before the Sweden game...even though we're through, we still have to perform.
not sure about bringing Rooney on, admitedly, he did sort of rally the team, but i think maybe he should have been kept for the final 16?
what does everyone else think?

Yeah, I'm german so obviously I'm for Germany. And theyve been pretty good so far...

I gotta say I think England has the best Fans. I went to Nuremberg (where the game was) yesterday to party and I really did. I have never seen fans with more enthusiasm. English fans really know how to have a good time. I had so much fun. And I havent been that drunk in forever....

If Germany will make it to the finals i will be in Berlin...

I still feel hungover..... hehe
