i couldn't see a thread for it her, so i'm taking a chance.. if there is one, just close this one, or delete it 😉

did anyone see it? i didn't acually watch the idol contest in norway, but i did see this one, cos kurt was in this big finale and all... man it was really cool that he won(spes considered that some judges called him ugly LOL 😉), you should hav heard the soundrate in my moms house, man where they happy! my aunt had aparently been so happy about it(she was at her house) that she had taken out a wiskey, and even my cusin was alowe a glass(he is 18.. so he is alowed to drink, but she has been very striced in the past about drinking..)

so did anyone see it?
 
I watched it. Kelly's my girl! I wanted her to win. I think she was a hundred times better than Kurt. Well, atleast the world got the top four right.
 
I think Kurt was good but I don't think he was good enough to have won - although I'm from the UK I would have liked to have seen Kelly Clarkson win - I think she has an outstanding voice. I think it would have been better if they had been able to sing stuff they had wrote themselves, or at least original material rather than the songs they did. It was just another glorified kareoke night really - just on a bigger scale. 😉
 
I liked kurt's singing...hated his look, I wish Kelly would have won...and I also liked the guy who sang the Nirvana song! Would have been cooler though if they had them sing their number one hit....
 
I didnt like Kurt at all, his voice just seemed a bit flat to me at times but i have no ear for music. The Guy from Belgium was good singing lithium although it was so obvious he was trying to mimick Kurt Cobains voice and did sound a lot like him. I'm from the UK and thought Will could have done better if he had sang a different song but in my opinion, Kelly Clarkson had the best voice out of them all and deserved to win.
 
Kurt was o.k,but nothing special (IMO) I would have liked Kelly to win..she has an amazing voice
 
I was lucky enough to be in the audience when they said who won! Kurt sounded much better live then on television.

Kelly does have a great voice and I was surprised she didn't win but I think a lot of people voted for Kurt cause he was called ugly and a hobbit (and who hates hobbits.......no one!), I have to say though in the flesh he isn't THAT bad, just doesn't look like a typical pop star.

I was torn, as an Australian I was obviously cheering for Guy, who came 7th, but when Will came out my flatmate kept saying "Guy, Australia, Guy!" as I started cheering for Will. I wasn't in Oz for Australian Idol but I saw Pop Idol and was so happy when Will won.

PS. I now have an unhealthy obsession with Dec!!
 
no contest

We can all see that Kelly or Will Young should have won. There was no contest it dont matter who better it matters who knows more bout the bis. but thats my thought.
 
One of the judges said he should have won if it was "Middle World Idol" I found that hysterical.
 
I knew from the start that there was no way Will could win, he's just not in the same league. Can you tell i'm not a fan of his 😉
 
I can't believe he won the UK version, I much prefered Darius, at least he wrote his own stuff. Which to me means a lot more.
 
i wanted kelly to win as well, cos she's got such an amazing voice! i was totaly cheerinh her on! but i do think it's cool that kurt won though.. cos he is from little tiny norway LOL.. will young sings ok and all, but he was so flat.. "come one baby light my fire..." with no fire 😉

kelly though, she did a very nice preformance!
 
I watched it I cant believe that hobbit boy won...I so wanted Kelly to win...I love Will Young he did well i spose...
 
I watched it, and I thought Kurt was really good! I have never heard anything about him before so he was a real shocker! Would have been nice for Kelly to win, but Kurt did equally as good as her
 
I think the guy from South Africa (Heinz Winckler) did pretty good, and Will Young wasn't that bad compared to that ugly 18 year old girl with the green teeth. The girl from Pan Arabic Idon (Diana) did pretty good for not singing in English. I just would have liked to see her sing in English so I could see how well her voice is when I can understand it. She did good though, and she was pretty good I think, but not good enough to beat Kelly... *scowles* or... Kurt.... eeehh....
