World of Darkness MMO

Tried searching but didn't see anything on it.

With the rumored Buffy MMO falling into the realm of vaporware, is anyone planning on playing the World of Darkness MMO when it comes out?

When I was younger I was an avid Vampire the Masquerade player so I'm extremely excited. Also it's being developed by CCP, who merged with White Wolf in 2006 and are also the developers of the ever popular EVE Online. (a game I've dedicated far too much time to the past four years)

So any interest here on BB?

There were talks of one happening but it seems to have disappeared. Here's an interview on massively with the supposed developers, Multiverse. It seems like every few months the topic comes up on a few sites I visit but theres never any new information. According to the little bit of googling I just did it may still be alive but I'm not optimistic.

I'm planning on playing DC Universe Online, but were they to do a Buffy MMO... I'd definitely drop DCUO...

If we don't get the much desired Buffy MMO though you should give the World of Darkness MMO a chance. 🙂

Check out this freaking beautiful tech demo CCP put together. It's technically a demo for the Incarna expansion for EVE Online but they probably developed it for WoD.

maybe... I too played Vampire the Masquerade back in the day... I don't know if I'd quit DCUO for it, but I'd definitely give it a try.

That video is pretty awesome! And yea a Buffy MMO would rock.
