Never played the game so I cant really attest to how the trailer holds up.. but I am sure some of you have, what do you think?


I wasn't that impressed. It felt like a cheap retread.

At least we know why the eagles weren't helping the Hobbits all the time, they were busy saving the day in this movie! Them eagles sure do get around.
 
I thought it looked awesome 😀 I really thought that was Manu Bennett voicing the orc. Who knew how big Travis Fimmel would be 15 years later when we had a Tarzan and Jane board lol!

This looks like 'Dances With Orcs' or something. Or perhaps an inter-species slash 'Romeo and Juliet'. Can two men's bro-love surmount cultural taboos and bring their warring races together?
Huh, I might actually watch that movie.

Also, the rest of the trailer looks so thuddingly unoriginal you could've cut and pasted imagery/dialogue from any other fantasy/sci-fi movies and have done with it.
 
Well, it's a RPG game. So the point of every RPG game is to have a bunch of different races come together against a common enemy. They really couldn't get around that.

Did you play the game Boufay? Curious as to if the plot of the movie related in anyway to one of the games, or if it were an original theme.
