Worst and best fandoms?

Those fans were the worst! Back in the day, they would go on IMDB or AV Club threads and gleefully tell spoilers, or give such broad hints that you could easily figure out the spoiler. When people complained, they'd loftily say, "It's your own fault if you haven't read the books." On TV show websites!

I began reading the books, but got bored quickly. George RR Martin's writing style is just too...wordy for me. Kind of like Anne Rice. I don't need THAT many words to grasp an idea.
