We all know there are great complexed characters on this show, with depth, own history and so on. But sometimes bad characters, or good characters played by bad actors come along, and I'm like what the hell?
:bootyshak

One of my worst are Mrs. Hall (I think she's called that, Faiths ''watcher'', that suddenly turns all ultra-demonish) from season 3, in the episode Intervention (I think).. She's just.. oh, god.. her accent, her looks, her everything is just stupid, and when she becomes all evil with the glove and stuff.. I turned in the grave I'm not in yet.. 😉

I would like to know... What is your worst character(s) on Buffy ever?

i did'nt really like her.. im just curious what was wrong with her accent? there is'nt any characters i disliked on buffy but on angel there's inspector kate :madtongue eve :evilgrin0 and werewolf woman nina :: wacko2

Well, I can't say there are any characters I hate on BtVS.. But the once I have disliked over the years are:
Angel, I just never liked him (before I watched the Angel-show). I didn't like how he was supposed to be this dark, mysterious, handsome guy. It just never worked for me. Sure, he looks OK, but that thing where he disappeared all of a sudden... I just found it annoying.
Riley.. Like many people I liked him in the beginning of season 4 but then he became more and more irritating.
Most of the potentials.. Too many new characters in the last season. To uninteresting characters.
Buffy (though I don't dislike her anymore). I shouldn't even go into why disliked her.. I find her OK now.. She can annoy me a lot, but I understand her, sort of, and can't not like her.
Oh, and Adam, he wasn't a good villain in my opinion. He wasn't an interesting character, which a good baddie needs to be. I found him quite boring actually.

Dawn could really annoy me sometimes and I hate Warren for what he did to Tara.

LOL..I agree. I've been seeing that commercial for that new basketball movie she's in with Samuel L. Jackson and all I can do is hope she's taken some lessons since then.

I hated Warren too. He stands for almost everything I hate in a man or a person to be more specific.

I didn't like Veruca either. I wanted to smack her around for what she did to poor Willow.

I smell a feminist...
I never liked Kate from Angel. She looked weird and her voice was annoying. Also, we already accepted that vampires were "real" and the other characters did too pretty quickly. like Oz in Surprise
Willow: "I know it's hard to accept at first."
Oz: "Actually it explains alot"

But Kate just wouldn't accept that demons were real and that Angel was good for a long time.

Faith from BtVS. Faith was always trying to ruin everything for Buffy, even when Faith was good when she first came to Sunnydale she was making Buffy feel left out around her friends, then she kept trying to take Buffy's boyfriends away from her.

Riley, but I don't think I even need to explain that.

Finally someone feels the same way about early Faith. Others always say that it was Buffy's fault... blah blah. Faith could have done more and put herself in those situations.
Riley and Dawn were my two biggest hated characters. Riley was just... I dont know I just didnt like him in The Freshman and I HATED when he and Buffy hooked up! He was too.. Clingy? Is that the word? And Dawn was SO annoying! "I'm not real! Waaaa! I'm fake so it gives me a reason to cry so I think I will do it TOO often! :bawling: " *people give her the look* Its possible that I hate her a little too much? :confused1 :: wacko : :embaresse

Really where to begin...

I kinda hated the main characters in certain points during the series

Season 6 Willow - Got on my nerves with her addiction to magick. Using magick far too much and got way too confident about her abilities. She got pretty lazy "Hm, I could go to the microwave and put in some popcorn or I can just say a couple of words and presto -- a seven course meal"

Season 3 Faith - Seriously thought the world owed her something. She thought just because she was the slayer she was entitled to everything her little heart desired. Granted she should have had a strong base and a good family but she didn't have to envy Buffy so much or try to steal Buffy's life. Don't put me on the Faith-hate train just yet, I really liked her in Season 7 and loved her on Angel.

Season 6 Buffy - Even though she had the right to complain, unlike other characters, I just didn't like seeing Buffy like that.

Snyder - Little troll. Had some serious issues but I think he is very realistic with his treatment of students and faculty and most principals are evil or have some secret personal goal.

Harmony on BtVS - When she was on Buffy, I couldn't stand her. There wasn't a word for how vapidly she was portrayed. But she was extremely likeable on Angel, especially in the final eps (even when betraying the gang).

Buffy's speeches - They deserve to be a character by themselves. Oh look it's General Buffy here to address the troops. She could have been a little easier on the girls even though most of them were annoying as crap and should have been thrown to the Bringers.

Kennedy - I don't think I even need to go there. Not even a good match for Willow. Nothing compared to Tara.

What does a feminist smell like exactly? And I agree about Faith in S3
Harmony..! How could I forget.. She annoyed me like hell. Well, at least when she was a vampire, not in high school really (might be 'cause we didn't get to see a lot of her). Whatever she did.. ah, I couldn't stand her..

Yeah I forgot about Faith in S3 and well S4 of Buffy too a bit in the beginning. The things she did to Buffy were pretty heinous.

The character i've hated the most on any tv program is warren, i always hated him, he was so annoying, he thought he was so bad when he was just a geek- at least johnathen and andrew where funny as geeks and sort of cute and adorable but warren was just irritating. My hate grew for him more when he had them orbs and beat up xander thinking he was all that when if he didnt have the orbs xander would have so kicked his ass to timbuctoo. The first episode he was i hated him when he said this is something you couldn'y possibly she's a robot blah blah he just annoyed me because i felt like he was patronising buffy... when he did that geeky laugh like he was all big and hard before he shot buffy i felt like jumping in the tv and smacking him myself and when he killed tara i could have cried because she was just so great and sweet and innocent and so did not deserve to die like that for nothing, her death was terrible, it had no honour, dignity nothing- she didnt even get to die doing the right thing, fighting evil etc which if she had to die was how she deserved to die, her death should have had more meaning, although i suppose it may have had purpose (make willow an uber witch so one year later she could activate the potentials) but it was still awful. Another part where i really hated him was when he was in that bar showing off about he killed the slayer, like it was a big achievement, it didnt take cunning, talent, nothing just a trigger finger so whats he got to show off about. he always thought he was this master criminal when he was nothing- i was so glad when willow ripped his skin off, i did partially agree with buffy that willow shouldn't take the law into her own hands but he so deserved it- in cocnusion i hate warren forever and ever and ever lol!!!

I dislike and or hate the following:
Anya
Andrew some of the time
Tara some of the time
Buffy in season six

F
FahrbotDrusilla
I disagree Anya rocked! Buffy in season six was issuy therefore cool, Tara was shy and Andrew was dorky in a good way.

Hate to go off topic here, but wasn't that the point? Wasn't Faith supposed to show the dark side of what being a Slayer was and what Buffy might have been like if hadn't had her friends? (Think how alike Dopple-Buffy from 'The Wish' and Faith are)

I do have to say there was one time I hated Faith. That was when she was in Buffy's body and made fun of Tara's stutter. I wanted to slap her.

Yes Faith was the anti-Buffy, but that still doesn't mean that I can't dislike her. I respect Buffy because she stood by laws and justice whereas Faith felt like she owned the world and the world owed her.

In Season 3 she didn't have the grasp of what a slayer really was. Buffy did. Buffy gave up things she wanted for the greater good while Faith was wanting things.

Buffy had her life torn apart time and time again and she never acted the way Faith did. She had her parent's divorce to deal with and she was being ostracized by her friends. Faith may have not had a family or friends but that doesn't mean she should get a GET OUT OF JAIL FREE card.

Re:

Much dislike for Kennedy. I just wasn't feeling the Killow vibe. Kennedy was way agressive and lustful. Where was the sensuality, the romance that you saw so much of with Tillow? Sometimes I wonder if Joss intended to play in the typical male fantasy pool.... (Just my opinion...no offense intended.)
(Yeah- who'da thunk it...Kink Master General herself preaching about sensuality and romance!)

Didn't so much care for Nina. Oh, who am I kidding? The woman gave me bitter beer face! And I admit openly that my reasoning is very shallow and immature. She wasn't Buffy.

Couldn't STAND Parker...reminded me so much of an ex of mine. He gave me the urge to reach out and smack someone....GASP! Such hostility!

I hated Kate. She just got too annoying when she couldn't accept the supernatural. I think that was mainly because in the buffyverse we'd never met a character who didn't automatically accept what was happening and just dealing. Kate's constant blaming of her dad's death on Angel was beyond annoying!!

I am only going to mention major players good and evil.

On Buffy:
Harmony
Drusilla
That vampire that we saw in a Catholic School Girl outfit.
Dawn
Vast majority of the Potentials
Anya
Xander
Drusilla
That woman that Angelus killed that liked Giles
Darla
Master
Faith
Kendra
Tara
Wesley

On Angel:
Cordelia
The guy with the visions and the blowfish face
Gunn after he became a lawyer
That guy who was an Illyria worshipper
