Worst/Least Fave Episode per season

Just out of curiousity to see how much this differs per person or if we all pretty much agree... What episode do you consider to be the worst or just your least favorite of each season of Buffy? Feel free to say why as well 🙂

i can never do the "best episode of the season" lists because i can never choose, but ill go for this one, because there is probably a more limited list for ones i dislike 🙂.

Season 1: i think i have to go with teacher's pet. as a season overall, i like season 1 the least, but each episode has enough shining moments that, in comparison to others of the same season, it was difficult. this one just stood out to me as the only one for which i couldnt go "but wait! this episode has such-and-such in it!" 🙂

Season 2: bad eggs - a lot of the episodes i dont like in this season, i watch again and then like, so this is as of the most recent watching. i like the bangel-y stuff, but the plot is kind of lacking.

Season 3: very very very hard! ill get back to this one.

Season 4: um......i think doomed. its possible i tend to like it some of the times i watch it, but overall, i dont think i liked it that much.

Season 5: listening to fear! easy! i so have no interest in this one! 'cause of the plot, mostly.

Season 6: hm...afterlife. everytime i watch this one im bored. granted, there's a bunch of great lines, and even moments, in the episode, but, i dont know. it just doesnt thrill me much overall when im watching it.

Season 7: hm. i havent seen the ones that might fit in this catergory anytime recently, only ones i like. ill get back on this one too.

Season 1:
Best: Angel and Prophecy Girl
Worst: Teacher's Pet and I, Robot...You, Jane

Season 2:
Best: Innocence, Passion, and Becoming pt. 2.
Worst: Some Assembly Required, Go Fish, and Bad Eggs.

Season 3:
Best: Doppelgangland and Graduation Day pt. 1 & 2
Worst: Dead Man's Party and Consequences.

Season 4:
Best: Hush and Restless.
Worst: Beer Band and Where the Wild Things Are.

Season 5:
Best: The Body and The Gift
Worst: Real Me. Dawn is incredibly annoying in this one.

Season 6:
Best: Once More, With Feeling, followed by the Dark Willow episodes.
Worst: Doublemeat Palace. There weren't that many bad ones in season 6, but, even though it had its moments, DMP had such a stupid premise. Dead Things was kind of boring, too, but it had some really good moments.

Season 7:
Best: Selfless and Conversations With Dead People.
Worst: I don't know...all of the episodes from when the Potentials come in up to Touched sort of seem like one big, not particularly good episode to me. I do remember that Bring on the Night was really boring, though, so I'll go with that.

Season One
Best: The Witch and Prophecy Girl. The Witch because it really turned Freaky Friday on it's evil head and the concept of witches was a great one. And Prophecy Girl, well, for obvious reasons, haha.
Worst: Teacher's Pet. It just seemed to really drag for me and beside a few funny moments, particularly from Xander, the episode, while enjoyable, didn't wow me in the same way that the rest did.

Season Two
Best: Innocence. I just loved that turning point in the Buffy/Angel relationship and the way it was dealt with by the characters and the episode as a whole was really fantastic. Every scene was breathtaking and heartstopping I thought.
Worst: Go Fish. As filler episodes go, it was okay, but when compared to the rest of the season it's cracks and lack-of-effort edge do tend to show.

Season Three
Best: Now my favorite episode is Band Candy, but for the best episode I would have to say probably belongs, from my viewpoint, Graduation Part one and two. It was a fantastic climax and really seemed to embody that feeling of coming to the end of this big battle that you do get at the end of high school. And the final fight scene always gives me tingles.
Worst: The Zeppo. Yes, it gave Xander a nice central episode which is good but in the grand scheme of things it did seem otherwise pointless. And I do always have a temptation to skip it, I'll admit.

Season Four
Best: Who Are You/This Year's Girl. A great storyline, greatly told and Sarah and Eliza did a fantastic job of acting like one another I thought. They really seemed to perfect one another's acting styles which was great. And it gave way to the beginning of a conclusion for Faith.
Worst: Where The Wild Things Are. It just sometimes seems to be an excuse for some nekkid Riley time, which okay, I'm not complaining about but still while I do enjoy it, it doesn't take the story anywhere and the episode self seems slightly stationary.

Season Five
Best: A lot of my favorite episodes come from this season, but for best I would have to say a toss up between Listening to Fear and The Body. Both were cold and frightening in an entirely mortal way and the writing was superior for both and the acting equally so. Both episodes give me chills because the story hits so close to home in a way that Buffy had never been able to do before. And I still don't get why The Body didn't win an Emmy. Sigh...
Worst: Weight of the World. Not because I didn't enjoy it but as far as where the narrative was up to at this point in the season, this episode just seemed to waste time and when you look at it closely it just seems like an obvious filler before the finale, with only a few moments being key to the actual storyline.

Now as for six and seven I can't really judge. Season Six seemed to be one big giant story broke into little episode parts and since most if not all didn't fall flat on the story it would be hard to judge a worst. And as for Season Seven I haven't watched it in a very long time and so I can't remember enough to judge! haha

angel seasons, least favourites:

Season 1: she - i cant honestly tell you why because i dislike it so much its one of the only episodes i havent seen in forever!

Season 2: are you now, or have you ever been? - granted, ive gotten a new apprieciation for the time period, and since then it has seemed better, but it always used to seem so boring to me, and it still sort of does.

Season 3: what is it with season 3s? i cant choose for this one either.

Season 4: shiny happy people - not because its a bad ep, i love season 4! i just dont like looking at jasmine's "real" face 😛.

Season 5: the cautionary tale of numero cinco - kind of boring plotwise

S1: Never Kill A Boy... Probably an unusual dislike of mine, but I find the ep kinda boring.

S2: Reptile Boy. I also don't like some things about Ted (would have been so much better IMO if he were a human psycho instead of a robot!), but even this way the ep is miles better than RB.

S3: Gingerbread (same complaint as with Ted, would have loved it if it hadn't been for the demon, lol). I'm also one of the probably few who's tempted to leave out Amends when I watch the season.

S4: Still a number of eps here I've never seen yet, so I'll pass.

S5: Buffy vs Dracula, the only real low point in this very solid season, and it gets it out of the way right in the beginning, lol!

S6: Doublemeat Palace. No contest.

S7: I'll pass here too - have seen a lot of the eps in S7 only once, and long time ago.
