Alexis said in issue 2 of Angel Magazine that it would be a dream come true if he played James Bond. Do you think he would be any good?
 
I'm one of the firm believers that Alexis could do anything he wanted...he's a brilliant actor and quite good looking as well 😀
 
Jane Espenso says in her commentery for 'Earshot' that the writers seemed to think of him as a bond-type character.
Like when Xander says 'He's got his Pierce Broznan-y eye's all over my Cordy'
I didnt think about him being Bond before, but for the Season 4 looking Wes, defitentely!
 
Yeah, male slayer, I was just about to say that! I never really noticed his Pierce Brosnan-y looks before I listened to that commentary, but season four... he could definitely make it. Especially with all his weird gadget thingies up his sleeves. hehehe go Wes.
 
I think that the current Bond kicks major ass in talent and looks (I'm not ready to see him go), but I think that Alexis could do it with pizzazz...maybe someday we'll see it! 🙂
 
well, Brosnan has said that the next Bond film will be his last, so Denisof could easily fill the role. I think he's a supremely talented actor. I've heard though that there is some bias on the part of the makers of the oo7 films against hiring an american bond. has anyone else heard that?
 
Yes I heared that. I don't care how well Alexis is, he's American, so he can't have the job 😛

Seriously, Bond is british the actors who've portayed him were also always British, I don't think that should change. So tough luck for Alexis, perhaps ASH can do the job 😀
 
the thing is, I heard Hugh Jackman is up for the role, and he's not British. I was hoping someone knew for sure about the British Bond rule.

I definately think that he could pull it off.... And as for the Brits only rule, tons of people think that he and James actually are British.

We should swamp the Bond people with relentless letters to make Denisof the next Bond.

I think Alexis would make the perfect Bond, because personally I don't think Pierce has the acting chops that Alexis has. I think Alexis is much more talented.
 
I really think Pierce should stop now. He was pushing his luck with Die Another Day. I mean look how old he is! He said himself in an interview that the only reason he hasn't passed the torch on is because being James Bond gives you power in the movie world.
 
I personally wouldn't blame him for the fiasco entitled Die Another Day, he was good in it... Unfortunatly the story was just horrible 🙁

He'll never be as good as he was in GoldenEye again, I fear!
 
Alexis as Bond! "stares off into space blissfully" My dreams have come true! Honestly, I never really liked James Bond, but if they got Alexis to play Bond, I would watch it everyday!
