Would anyone be interested in an Angel: After the Fall reread?

I was thinking about this from one of the responses to a question I asked about ATF. Would anyone be up for a reread, either fairly soon or maybe after the Firefly re-watch?
 
I will be. We have run it once on the BR forum, but after the announcement of the S9 layout I sort of lost interest. I can dig up my old reviews and sometimes comment.
 
I've never read them but I'd be interested in reading them and joining in where I could but I also wouldn't be able to for a few weeks.
 
I'm out of town (and internet access) from Aug 13-21, so if we wanted to start sometime after that, would that work? That gives everyone a while to kind of get ready for it and pick up any issues or trades they're missing.

What if we started Saturday, Aug 25? We could kind of go from there as to a more defined schedule. Would that work?

Sure, no problem. I'd like to get as many people as possible, so whenever is best for everyone is good with me. These types of things are usually better with time and planning anyways, so people can get everything in order.

I would love to! I started the first 4 or 5 issues and had to stop because I got busy with school and work. I bought all the trades (Except "Only Human" which I can't find) so if you set it up I will absolutely be joining in!

I'm interested in participating in this.

Do we know who was planning on setting up the reading schedule? How much do people think we should go through each week?

Yes! So happy this thread made a comeback.

I'm still very up for this. If we do it, I'd like to stick with just After the Fall. It remains pretty apart from the S8 stuff, so I don't think there are too many tie ins.

Would two or three issues per week work for most people? I don't mind running it if no one else wants to. As for thread options, should we just post in here?

My vote would be for two a week, but three would work if that's what people wanted.

As far as threads go, I'd suggest starting a new re-read thread and we can post in there as we go....maybe have whoever ends up running it can post a short recap to get the convo. rolling then we post from there. I don't know that there will be enough people participating for a new thread to be created for each issue.

Two works for me. I actually didn't even know there was a re-read thread, so I'd be happy to go with that. And good call on the number of people too. There probably won't be a ton, so getting one or two post responses per issue wouldn't warrant a thread.

Would two weeks from now work for people as a starting point?

I'd love to read beyond After the Fall. I'm a big fan of the Angel comics.
 
Sounds good to me!! Do we have any artists in here? Because some banners or buttons promoting our re-read would be fun. 🙂
 
An artist I am not unfortunately. That would be really cool if we could get someone to design buttons and stuff like that though.

Should I just post in the reread discussion thread? I think that would be best.
