Would Klingon warriors beat Buffy?

^^^^^Well, the new Klingons don't look like that, but some of the older vampire shows I've watched have vampires that do. (except some of the newer stuff influenced by Joss, and the odd old stuff exception.)

granted they don't have that klingon tan....

Pre Joss, I always envisioned vamps more human like, but with the fangs. Now, he's rubbed off on me and I like them all bumby faced and snarly.

NO! That is just soo wrong.. the vintage Klingon (the REAL) Klingon looked nothing like that.

real klingon

That was before the Klingon Empire was overrun and turned by an army of vampire astronauts. (It happened just before they made "Star Trek-The Movie," which explains why the Klingons changed.) Also, the mixing of vampire and Klingon blood resulted in eliminating the sun allergy/no reflection/wooden stake causes dust syndrome. I'm surprised you hadn't heard about all that. It was all recorded in Gene Roddenberry's private papers. They're on display at the Smithsonian in Washington. Don't take my word for it. Look it up.

In a fight against Worf, I think Buffy would have a run for her money. But because of her size and her willingness to fight more like a dirty street brawler, she's going to get the upper hand.

Hey, she can bend iron bars and whatnot.

And Yoda wouldn't win if Buffy pulled a Primeval. :bite-cha:

You need to qualify that statement, please. Which Yoda? Are we talking the real Yoda or the artificial 1-3 Yoda? The real Yoda prolly not, he was not very spry, the artificial Yoda looked like a buttkicker. Oh, speaking of that, anyone have one of them in their home theater systems?

Yoda comes in a home entertaiment system!?!? I must have one!!! Just kidding. Whats a buttkicker?
Okay, so we've determined that Buffy could woop the Klingons' collective asses..

The Borg maybe... given a hundred-weight of Star Trek's finest as a helping hand.

But what about Cybermen or Daleks? Could our favourite heroine kick some metallic ass? I'm having to say it's not looking good for Buffy on this one guys.

Do I need to point out that Worf has defeated Borg in single combat on not one, but at least THREE seperate occasions? Let Buffy try that.
now, cybermen and daleks I know about!
I'm not sure if she could beat them! I mean- they're metal. lol. could Buffy beat the whole "EXTERMINATE!" thing?

^Take it someone whose sat through every single Klingon episode TOS-ENT, she could whoop their asses.

Personally, I wanna see Spike against the Klingons

"We see you have boom boom stick...bye!" *run*

Klingons are such big sissies sometimes.

I haven't determined any such thing. I'm still in shock over the thought of Roddenberry's private parts.
Dude! you were the one that offered the invitation for me to look.. I should be the shell shocked. 'sides.. i'd prolly catch a heart attack if i stepped inside a museum.

This thread is unbelievably nerdy.

Well I *have* been watching this show since before you were born LOL

I dunno, dude... she waved her hand and Adam got all disarmed, plus she deflected bullets, slowed time and turned a grenade into cute little doves. Then after she'd pulled Adam's guts out, she did magic floaty tricks with it. <3

Oh, I concur but it would be like Major League Baseball and their ban on midgets due to the strike zone being so small and an unfair advantage. Buffy is used to fighting foes larger (or at least as large as) her, but a little green guy that doesnt even come up to her knee caps would make punching very difficult! Unless she were to get down on her knees (wait, had to clear that mental picture from me head) to fight him, it could be an even match.

Superstar agrees: Come now, we're both old enough to know Trekkies is the proper term.

"Trekkies" are people who have the Vulcan peace symbol tattooed on their bodies in highly visible places, name their children James Kirk or Jean Luc, get together and argue about whether Federation phasers set on kill are actually more powerful than Klingon disrupters, and dress their children like Borg at conventions.

"Trekkers" enjoy the series, remember with fondness and respect when a poorly financed and completely underestimated show, created by a genius decades ahead of his time. They don't necessarily speak Klingon, and they don't have a Federation uniform in their closet. They love the show with its concept of IDIC (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations) and the hope that it gave for the future of the human race.

I'm a "Trekker."

My mistake.
I thought you were above the self-pretentiousness of the label Trekker.

Nah, only modesty keeps me from telling you that I am known throughout the land as "Mr Self-Pretentious." Course, it's said with great affection by those who really know and love me.
Even though I conform about 95% to the latter and merely 5% the former description, I'd always go for "Trekkie"... if only because "Trekker" sounds so silly and lo-tech in German (sounds like our word for "tractor" - not as in "beam", but as in "farming utility vehicle" 😉 ).

It's kinda like Bangels and Spuffies. We all watch the same show, just from slightly different perspectives.
The only thing missing from this thread is... no, wait, nothing's missing. It's full of win! 😀

I <3 nerds.
