I hate the sun. I am as pale as the day is long anyway. My soul isn't worth that much anyway. In fact, the only way I would want to live forever is if I could be a vampire, otherwise I wouldn't care for it.

I'm gonna go with the less popular answer and and say YES!

I'm not so much sold on the idea of a soul anyway and, to be honest, the blood drinking and killing wouldn't seem so horrible to me if it was in my nature to drink blood. I mean, I eat meat now. For a vampire, drinking blood is pretty much the same thing. I'm not so sure I'd go in for the evil and the torture side of things, but I think super strength, super healing, a fountain of youth, and the potential to (un)live for centuries would be worth paying the price of a liquid diet, a nocturnal schedule, and the lack of a soul.

I have to answer this question the same way I answered the other thread regarding vampires and werewolves and which you'd choose given the choice. For me, vamp all the way.

It's a Drogyn thread so some of you guys might not be able to actually see it... but my original reply was:

Vamp all the way... immortality and all that cool stuff like the super strength, the kung-fu (which I haven't got a clue about)... Wolves have a limited life span so I doubt I'd want to be going there anytime soon.

Just a shame I'd never witness another sunrise or a beautiful sunny day... but hey, I can live with that!

Buffyverse vampirism is super, super, SUPER lame. They're not even the original person. They're soul is gone, so that means the person is dead and in heaven and hell, right? And there's just a demon there. So you wouldn't get any benefits at all, basically you'd be gone and your corpse would be walking around possessed by a demon. And you'd have a fugly vamp face. So...no.

There are other vampire universes in which vampires are far more appealing.

If I *was* going to choose to be a vampire, I'd want to be one in the Twilight universe. Fiction-wise, they're not that great, but if you had to live as a vampire, that would surely be the way to go. Sunlight doesn't kill you, you're insanely beautiful, and you're basically indestructible and to be really killed for good you'd have to be ripped to pieces and burned.

But no, I don't think I'd ever want to really become a vampire, because I'd like to raise a family, grow old and experience the human life. Living forever on this planet wouldn't be that fun for long.

That's a hard question. Living forever... I don't know. I would lose everyone. My family, my friends. I wouldn't be able to finish school or go to college or have a job or a sweet little kid. All my dreams... Just poof. Maybe if there were one person. My true love or whatever. And we could be together, forever. Yeah, that would be beautiful. But I don't know if I would risk it. My dreams, my soul and all the persons I ever cared about would be lost (except him). And if I'd still die I would end up in some sort of hell dimension with eternity of torture. Is that all really worth it?

I would. Just not now. I'm only thirteen and if I actually COULD become a vampire, I'd live out a lot more of my human life first. But I defiantly would become a vampire, they fascinate me, and they rule.

(I'm taking it by the Buffster definition, and not Twilight or Supernatural) If I killed my friends, that would be horrible. The only upside is I'd have superstrength and superspeed. I'd rather be Superman.

So, no. Thank you, but if I come across a vamp who wants to turn me, I'm gonna introduce them to Mr. Stake. Or Mr. Sunlight. Or Mrs. Holy Water. Okay, you get the drift.
