Would you go into space when flights are available?

I'm glad mankind hasn't ventured into space to much. Considering how he has ruined earth and that he/she inflicts such horrors on each other, the thought of meeting an alien race is abhorrent, unless the alien race has the sense to see mankind for what it is and limits us to suffer on what is left of this planet.
And if you would pay to go into space have a look at the several thousand bits of junk that circumnavigate this planet continuously, it is a bit off putting.

That could be the ultimate space-based video game - going into orbit to shoot down all the space junk. Either that or running an orbiting Mos Eisley Cantina.

It'd be one way to get rich put out a video game as you say and send up a big craft to get the space junk, get permission to re-sell stuff or don't jow will they know to complain?

As you may know, SpaceX and Virgin Galactic will (allegedly) be offering civilian space flights to the International Space Station; and in the distant future, possibly the Moon...or Mars. If you could afford it, would you actually go?
