Question Would you have liked a Buffy Birthday episode?

Would have liked to see a Buffy Birthday episode, and if so what would you have liked to happen in it?

Yes, very much. I felt it was needed and missing.

Something bad must happen. Buffy's birthday after all. Not sure what, but it must be something that Buffy regrets it's her birthday because of it.

I always loved the birthday episodes... I would have liked to see them spend a quiet night in, celebrating and remembering celebrating birthdays past. Maybe we could have gotten some "flashbacks" of them celebrating the other Scoobies' birthdays, too, since those were never mentioned on the show. :\

I liked the birthday episodes, but I didn't miss it this season.

Halloween episodes though? I loved those and think we should have gotten one every season...

well there are a lot Birthday episodes in BTVS. Maybe not at the time when you post the threat. But I really wish that it would have been not always the birthday of Buffy. There should be an episode in which Xander or Willow celebrate their birthdays!

I would've loved Joss' Tara episode to have been on Buffy's birthday, just to turn around the formula in a year that was really heart-wrenching. "Hey, Happy Birthday, you get a wish!"

I would've loved that. For more reasons than one...

I agree, but at the same time, what a nice thing to have. The potentials arrive, Buffy gets her ass kicked by the Turok-hans then gets Spike back AND THEN we get a really silly birthday episode. Things go wrong, but not terribly wrong, just in a fun way.

But, as you said, it could have messed with the flow of the later half of the season.

I wouldn't mind a comic of it now though. A birthday comic set in season 7.

Yes 🙂 I love Buffy birthday episodes. Well, usually. Of course something tragic would have to happen. Although I don't think that anything too bad happened on her birthday in season 4.
