Would you have liked/hated them in real life?

If the characters you love on the show were real and you've met them, would you have still liked them as much in real life? Same for the characters you don't love. Be honest!!

I'd find Willow s1-4 lovely, but not so much her circa S5 onwards. She got a bit full of herself and a bit bitchy which wouldn't go down well with me.

I'd get on well with Tara, Oz, Xander and Giles as well I think. Probably not Anya as we're both rather opinionated and I'm not always patient with people who are rude, I think I'd pretend not to know her if she ever said anything in public.

I'd love to say I'd get on with Spike but I doubt it. Same with Buffy. Definitely not Faith, Dawn or Cordy either.

Willow and I would get along. I see a lot of myself in her. 🙂

Buffy and I might butt heads.

I would probably get a long with Spike too, since we are both smokers. 😛

Angel and I wouldn't get along because he's too boring.

Faith is nuts, so I don't see any connection there.

I would not have liked Spike. I love bad boy characters, but not in real life.

Faith would intimidate the heck out of me.

I probably would've hung around Xander, Willow, and Buffy. Oz, maybe. Tara, most likely. Dawn, not so much.

Cordelia? Not the Buffy one. The Angel one, possibly.

Anya would be too much for me.

Giles, I can see myself hanging around him.

I would get frustrated with Angel. He probably would be too broody for my tastes.

From Buffy i think id get along with Giles, Faith and Riley(honestly, i think he'd be alright)

From Angel id get on with Angel, Gunn, Wes and Fred. Also, Gwen would be cool.

I would not get along with Cordy or Lilah.

It would be a love her or hate her moment meeting my fav character Faith, she would have really grated on me or we would have hit it off depending on how we met. Willow I think I would have gotten along with and definitely Xander and I would have been pals. Angel I would probably have never spoken to just drooled over and Spike I dunno probably have not spoken to him. Giles I would have found to be a cool dude I think and Cordy in early seasons well I would not have gotten along with her as she was a bit of a bully/bitch. Doyle I think we would have been good friends and Kate would have been more of an acquaintance than a friend. Buffy, well she would irritate the hell out of me but I would still have stuck by her as she cared for others and I do respect that.

Is this assuming we know or don't know about slayers and demons?

If we don't; Riley, Gunn, Oz and Buffy would probably be the only characters I'd get along with. I wouldn't have the patience for anyone else.

If we did; I'd probably put up with all of them (except for Spike) but would gravitate towards Cordy, Angel, Riley, Tara, Gunn, and Fred.

Hmmm good point...
If I was in the Buffyverse, I think I'd be terrified of pretty much everything so I really doubt I'd get along with the vampires.

I'm not so sure about Buffy. I think it would take a while for me to warm up to her. Whereas Willow and Xander remind me of some of my real life friends so I think I'd get on with them initially. I love Buffy, I'm just not sure I'd like her at first so much.

I think I'd like Giles, if he didn't hate me for overdue books 😛

And I think I'd probably end up crushing on Oz though. Which would be awkward...

There's so many facets of my personality, so I probably could get along with virtually everybody. I would have loved to party with Faith, or Spike. I would have probably hated being around Cordelia (shallow Cordy of Buffy, not the beautiful, confident woman in Angel). I think I would get along with Buffy, Willow, and Xander just fine. Tara I would have adored. Giles would be so cool to hang with. Me and Oz would be best friends. No frickin doubt. 🙂

I agree with Bexieh about the vampires, but I'm talking mostly about the main vampires on the show. Maybe I wouldn't be as afraid of Angel, he's not very terrifying when you look at him or talk to him (unless his Angelus). But Spike has a scary look, so I would stay away from him or fun away from him if I met him in a back alley. Although once I get to know him, I'd like him and realize he's very caring for the ones he cares about, so I'd trust him.

I think I would be fine with Buffy, because we have the same sense of humor and we're both blonde so we could talk about blonde hair or something. I'd think she's very bossy but I'd adore her and let her lead. She's a bitch sometimes, but overall that's not who she is, she's not a bad person. I'd like her a lot.

I would get along with Willow and like her, although I don't think we'd have much to talk about, because I hate school. But I'd take interest in her witchcraft hobby (not like Kennedy!!)

Even though I'd think Angel is nice and tall and dark (and forehead), I wouldn't really like him because he tends to push people away. Also, he broods to much. He wouldn't want to talk much, and I'm a talker.

I think I'd like Xander a lot. As long as he's not too judgemental. He has good spirit and is fun to have around.

Dawn. Well, I can't stand it when someone keeps screaming near me.

Cordelia, on Buffy no way. On Angel, she's so sweet and caring and she's probably the one I would like the most.

As opposed to that, Faith would be the one I would least like, because I don't agree with her on so many things.

I think Angel and Faith are the only ones I would stand for longer periods of time, maybe the Mayor too cause he'd just give me a chuckle (of course I only mean until it became clear that he was super evil and had people killed... I draw a line at wetworks!)

Come to think of it I think I'd get on well with Oz too.
The rest are either too pushy, too meh or too annoying... I don't think we'd mesh.

I fully acknowledge that I would have hated Spike and Cordelia (on Buffy, at least). Willow and I would have loved each other and I probably would have had a secret crush on Giles if he was my school librarian.

I'd get along fine with Giles, probably better with Oz than I liked him on TV, and most likely with Lorne and Andrew, too. Xander would regularly drive me up the wall; I probably would find Spike grating on my nerves a lot in real life. Both Gunn and Wes would be tricky to deal with on ground of Fred-related jealousy. I wouldn't be able to stand the Bad Hair Dude any better than on TV... which is to say, not at all.

As for the women - well, Fred and Willow could turn out to be awesome chat pals of mine. I can't really see any of the others put up with my strict "no offline contact" policy, so I'd be dumped out of their lives pretty quickly.

I think I'll hang out with Xander and Willow, and I'd feel comfortable around Tara.

I'll stay away from Spike and Faith, not much of a bad boy/bad girl fan. And I'll surely stay away from Cordelia and Anya, I hate "honest" people who say tactless things to hurt people's feelings.

Honestly from BtVS I feel like the only characters I'd really like and want to hang around with would be Buffy, Spike and Xander. On Angel though, I'd like everyone in the Fang Gang. They would be just awesome. 🙂

p.s: As long as Connor and Gwen are not part of them!!

I saw that! *glares* ;-)
I would have to resist the urge to punch Xander in the face at times but...for the most part, I think I'd get along pretty well with everyone. The only person I wouldn't be able to stand...would be Connor. Haha ugh.

I think I would get on well with Xander, Willow, Oz, Tara, Giles and Angel (assuming I didn't know about the whole vampire thing)

Buffy would annoy me but I think I could put up with her for the most part.

Anya would probably fall somewhere between Buffy and Cordy in that I would be able to put up with her in small doses.

Cordelia would annoy the bejeezus out of me and I would have to get away from her after about 30 seconds.

Faith is the kind of person I would end up in big shouty arguments with and then she'd whup my butt. And not in a fun way. Same goes for Spike.

Kendra's accent, after prolonged exposure, would make my ears bleed.

And Wesley's just a moron. (in Buffy at least)

I could hang pretty comfortably with Xander, Buffy, Willow, Giles, Angel, Wesley and Spike. . . and possibly Tara. If there aren't too many awkward silences. 🙂

I am pretty eclectic in most things and that has made me able to talk to and get along with a wide range of people.
