I know funerals aren't big things in the Buffyverse but would you have liked to see it? Or at least a bit more dedicated (in a good way) to Tara's death. I know Willow went off the deep end but would you like to see all the scoobies saying goodbye to Tara? How would you want it to play out?

Lots of questions to discuss 😀😀😀

No, I think Seeing Red was sad enough, and S6 was a sad enough season as it was, without the emotion of a funeral. Plus, not in a heartless way, I think it'd slow down the pace of the season.

Yeah maybe right at the end of season 6 it would have been nice to have a funeral for her with them all around the grave as the closing scene

Yes, I would have liked to have seen something for her. But Willow would probably either be evil or shipped off to England, so she most likely wouldn't have been able to come. I would have liked to see Jenny's actual funeral, too, but there wasn't enough time in "Passion", probably.

Jenny's funeral would have been heartbreaking - the moment by the grave gets me everytime!!!!!
I would've liked to seen it. I also would've liked to seen Buffy and Jenny's funerals as well. I would like to think Willow did the responsible thing and buried Tara before going off to England.

I agree... I wouldn't have wanted to see it. The funeral scene in "Forever" (s5) was sad enough!! But it would have been nice if they had mentioned having a wake or something for her.

No, I don't think I would have wanted to see Tara's funeral. I feel that Seeing Red was already a sad episode and I feel that a funeral would have been over kill. Though I do wish that they had done her death a little more justice and not just made Willow turn dark.

No, I think that the scene with Willow visiting the grave site after returning from England was perfect. Anything more would have been too much.

I'm happy with how it turned out. I think it would have been too sad to see her funeral. I actually like the fact that Willow's visit to Tara's grave is also our first visit to her grave, so it's a sad/unfamiliar experience for all of us, including Willow.

No, but I think maybe just some more short scenes of people by her grave would have been nice.

this is what I'd like to see
Nah. I wouldn't have wanted S6 ending to be any different in the first place. A funeral would have screwed up the ending with Buffy and Dawn(and then Spike).

Also, she wasn't that important for the others for her funeral to be shown. I mean... We didn't even see Buffy's funeral, geez!

I don't really want to see a funeral as such I'd just like to see the scoobies pay their respects to her, not necessarily in season 6 but perhaps after Willow had been to visit the grave in season 7 there could have been a small clip of them all going back with Willow to lay flowers or something.

Yeah I definitely think there should have been more time spent grieving for Tara. She was there friend. Buffy was confiding in Tara especially. It seems out of character for Buffy to not be upset at all.
Having said that I think that we should have seen Buffy's funeral to bring some reality to the situation. Buffy's death was never treated seriously enough in my opinion.

I think I want to see a funeral for Tara. Maybe everybody of the Scoobiegang could say something for or to her!!. I'm wondering what Willow would say to her after her freakout. And Tara's family could return to show that after all they miss Tara. Something like a happy ending
