I don't care how hungry I am, I wouldn't go near this thing.

Mulligan's, a suburban bar in Decatur, Georgia, serves a dish they call the "Hamdog": a hot dog wrapped in a beef patty that's deep fried, covered with chili, cheese and onions, and served on a hoagie bun topped with a fried egg and two fistfuls of fries. Ugh...my arteries are hardening just typing this. Who among you would have the testicular fortitude to scarf on one of these babies?

Now that picture makes it look disgusting, but the ingrediant sound...nummy....i'd have to actually see the 'Hamdog' on my plate before i made the choice of consumption or not......

Once upon a time I would've loved to snack on that sucker. Well, not after seeing the picture, but from a verbal description, anyway. Now that I'm over 30 I'm way too mortality-conscious eat something that probably lops more time off your lifespan than three packs of cigarettes.
 
Hmm, upon further reflection, perhaps I would eat it.....but I'd have to go on Lipitor right afterwards. 😛
 
It's not that it looks unappealing to the eye. It's just that it's a horrible mixture of food that should never be together. Honestly, hotdogs and eggs do not even belong in the same universe together!

In answer to your question, OMIII, I would not eat it. Not because I didn't ahve the 'cojones' but because I don't want indigestion. 🙂

Mmmmmm... clogged arteries! LMAO! Nah, I probably wouldn't go near that thing unless I was really drunk and had a severe case of the munchies (even then it'd have to be the last morsel of food on the planet!)!

I don't know, a few portions of chips and you have enough food to end world hunger with that sandwich alone.....
Seriously though, its a shame that in some countries you can have food like that, when you know at least 50% of the beast is gonna be thrown away, and in another country you have villagers fighting over one cup of grain......for shame....FOR SHAME...

Twenty years ago I would've definitely scoffed that naughty sandwich straight down - but in these more restrained times of higher blood pressure and raised cholesterol I'd have to decline...doesn't stop me wanting it tho' 😉

"Sandwich" hardly seems appropriate for that amount of food - I know you colonial chappies prefer a larger sandwich to those served back in Blighty (and I've sampled more than one deli sandwich in my time) but that one is probably the largest I've ever seen...it could've probably even satisfied Elvis 🙂

DDLM does raise a good point tho' - we in the West should probably be ashamed of ourselves...
 
I would never eat that sandwich. It looks so nasty and the ingredients sound nasty too. It sounds like one of those Doublemeat Palace things. With the pork and the beef all swirly together.
 
Holy crap! It's a total fatty, you can't fit that in your mouth...

I'd still eat it... but it'd be uber messy when I cut it up. And I'd lost so much chili.
