Would you rather have one more season of Buffy and Angel or one combined season?

I know we're well past the possibility of any of those happening, but just theoretically, if the franchise could pick up right where "Not Fade Away" leaves off, would you rather have one more season each of Buffy and Angel or one combined season between the two shows?

I think I'd like to see a big, combined season between the two. Seeing the Scoobies and an army of Slayers teleport in to make the save and then the two go from there would be pretty cool. I always wanted to see Buffy and Angel on the same show again, and seeing them and Spike together on the same show, plus Faith thrown in, would be cool.

Again, this is purely a fan question. I know that it's not happening.

Angel for sure. Too many characters to focus on with a combined season. Buffy felt done with way more than Angel. I wouldn't mind guest appearances from the Buffy cast though. More than it has been so far.

One more season each. A combined season would feel too cluttered, and I think both shows would still be on very different paths. But the additional seasons ought to have many references and crossovers.

That makes sense. I'd like that.
I definitely would have wanted one more season of BtVS. I like "Angel", but I have always loved Buffy a lot more, and would have wanted a season that tied up loose ends and stuff.

I think a combined season would be cool, the dynamic between the 2 groups would be interesting to see.

I could see Buffy and Angel, getting into it about trying to be the leader, battling for control, I could see the groups mixing a bit since they haven't always been behind their respective leaders decisions, so they could side with the other wanting to see how they lead, which could create some interesting tension, I could see Illyria being interested in Buffy, cuz she's small, a women and powerful!

Most interesting I think Spike matured right from Chosen, where (IN MY OPINION) he realised he didn't have to do everything because Buffy wanted him to, he actually became a hero, so he might not just side with Buffy for no real reason, if they did that I think it would redeem allot of crap about Spike and would add something interesting.

I think if they focused on the main characters from both shows and their interactions, it wouldn't be to cluttered.

Although if I had to go for one show, I'd want another season of Angel, it always pissed me off that Joss wanted Angel to end with a message of never stop fighting, I didn't watch for messages, I want to see what happened to the characters, a proper ending would have been better!

An additional season of each season would have been great, but putting the total casts from both shows together in one big conglomeration would have just been too many people, especially if you include Andrew, Faith, and Kennedy, which would be hard not to do.

It would be interesting to see how Buffy handled Angel and Nina together, however, and the same would apply to Angel with Buffy and Spike. Just think. A Buffyverse soap opera.

I'd be happy to see one more season of BtVS and/or Angel. But I can't imagine a show with the regular cast of about 20. Joss is brilliant with ensemble casts but I don't think that even he could handle it.

OTOH, if he'd make a show about Bufffy, Spike and Angel as regulars and invited everybody else to guest star, it could be awesome.

Speaking of impossible dreams, I'd like to see a three hour stage play with the original cast, plot whatever, special effects always of stage, just them talking. I would cross the world to see that.

I like the idea of a combined season. I can already imagine some interesting interactions that would happen between Faith and Illyria.

Combined season, no question. I think the finale's of both shows basically set that up. Sigh. I suppose there's always fanfic.

I would liked to have seen one more of Angel, they could have paced season 5 a bit better then and have season 6 more about fighting Wolfram and Hart, and hopefully less character deaths!

Yes! And keep Wes alive
As I said in a thread not that long ago, I would love to see a combined season with Buffy & Co helping Angel in LA. It wouldbe difficult to get the tone of the show right and do justice to the huge cast involved but if done right it would be amazing. Ah, if wishes were fishes 🙂

If I had to choose I'd want one more season of Angel but only directly after season 5 was over.

Angel. Only because of the way it ended. I'd love to see Los Angels After The Fall on screen. The battles would be epic.

Well... like others have said, a combined season would have been awesome. Yet, it wouldn't have happened, because can you imagine having like 10+ main characters to focus on in a show like Angel/Buffy (this isn't Lost lol)? Some of the characters would have to sit on the side, which would be disappointing.

So, I'd go with an extra season of Angel. Buffy had a nice ending. Angel was way too cliffhangery for me. WE NEVER got to see the damn Senior Partners, talk about a cheap move! 😡

There was no way to know Angel's fate. Buffy's was secure.
Angel. Ideally,i think both could probably be done. But definitely Angel. At the end of it i was like "What? you're leaving me here?" lol.

I think there was still a lot more than could have been done, easily atleast one more seasons worth.

A combined season?

GIVE IT TO ME!!!!!!!!!GIVE GIVE GIVE GIVE GIVE!

......Yes, I would have liked to see that. The possibilities are endless...

Well, everyone is pretty much dead except for Angel and Spike, so that would have been my pick
