1. Date Angel? Date Riley? Or date Spike?
For me, probably none of the above? None of them are remotely my type, but since I have to answer... well, it wouldn't be Riley, first of all. Angel on his own show, I might date, he has several attractive qualities. Spike, also, has some of those, but they both, again, have things I'm not really interested in. Gun to my head, it would either have to be Angel or Spike. Spike might win out simply because I'm not physically attracted to David 🙂

2. Be a vampire? A witch? Or a demon?
Definitely a witch. I would still be human, first off, and how cool would it be to have powers? In hindsight, however, I would probably turn out like Willow and abuse my powers, lol, so probably not a good idea.

3. Listen to Dawn whine? Or shoplift with Faith?
Uh, duh, shoplift with Faith. When I was that age (S3 Bad Girls) I was so similar to Faith, she and I would get along splendidly. Even though I don't characterize Dawn as being 'whiny', I'd choose Faith any day of the week, over pretty much anyone or anything 😀

4. Date Oz? Or date Tara?
Hmm. Tara is such an absolute sweetheart, so supportive and helpful, and I just don't think I'd be comfortable; I wouldn't feel like I deserved her love, sad as that sounds. So I'm gonna go with Oz; we both love music, he's smart and witty and loyal. But he isn't overwhelmingly so and I would feel a lot more comfortable letting him love me.

5. Be a Slayer? Or be a Watcher?
Being a Watcher would fit my personality better; somewhat introverted, loves to read real books, I love learning and would love to speak several languages, and so on. But I'd probably pick Slayer, because to experience that power? Out of this world.

6. Date Cordelia? Or date Anya?
Cordelia, definitely. As a character on TV, I love Anya. In real life, I would not want to be around her, even as a friend. HS!Cordelia has her good sides, and if we add her AtS personal growth she becomes an absolutely wonderful person, so, easy peasy.

7. Attend Sunnydale High? Or UC Sunnydale?
I've never been able to wrap my head around either the concept of high school or college, but I'd want to discover college more; study in the day, go to coffee shops, party at night, sounds like fun 🙂

Again, there's me being an extrovert, living as an introvert, so tough one. But, in the end, I'll have to go with the Bronze; hopefully on a night when the Dingoes are playing 😀

Ha! Sid, of course. He's not evil, just a rogue demon hunter in the body of a puppet; we can bond over my name!

I would hate to get left at the altar, but if I'm not the Slayer, how do I protect my mumsy from death-by-robot? So let's go with heartbreak over loss of a loved one, kay?

How often do I come across bunnies in real life? But then I'd never write poetry, either...hmm. You pick 🙂

Warren. I'm a poor woman with no martial arts skill, my best chance is against the human nerd, though if he brings a gun to our knife fight, Imma be pissed.

Crap, neither is a very good quality, is it? Anya comes off as endearing, but again, if this was real it wouldn't be endearing at all. At least with magic I'd be powerful, right? 😀

Personally, I'll go with the first one (which is, of course, Bangel, according to the writer of these questions). I wouldn't have a problem with a sexless relationship, so long as it wasn't loveless. The other way around, no matter how great the sex is, is just not for me.

15. Be best friends with Buffy? Willow? Or Xander?
Xander. 100%. Willow is too controlling, too needy, and often far too bland. Buffy is too full of herself, and self-absorbed, and at times whiny than I'd like. Xander, however, despite his flaws, is loyal, supportive, and always there for you if you need him. So, yeah, once again, easy peasy 😀

3. Listen to Dawn whine? Or shoplift with Faith? Dawn shoplifted while Faith robbed (even plundering the sporting goods store for weapons doesn't count as shoplifting to me as it wasn't sneaky). And I'd rather hear Dawn whine than Faith gripe, though that's a close call, and I think it's because I give Dawn more slack due to her age (and that the monks are responsible for a lot of her behavior), or maybe I'd just feel safer brushing Dawn off if it got too much for me. That aside, I'd get along with Faith a lot better than Dawn, generally speaking.

4. Date Oz? Or date Tara? Close call. Pretending bisexuality for the moment, I'll have to go with Tara. Oz is just a little TOO perfect, which is a bit intimidating.

5. Be a Slayer? Or be a Watcher? Another close one. I love the books and researching and esoteric knowledge of Watchers, but I wouldn't be able to stand their bureaucracy and stiff society. So I'd have to go with Slayer. I'm okay with dying young.

6. Date Cordelia? Or date Anya? This one is actually easy. Cordelia. And Cordelia isn't my type.

7. Attend Sunnydale High? Or UC Sunnydale? Not much of a difference as far as I'm concerned.

I found Buffy's fight against Angelus the most compelling, though Mayor Wilkins is perhaps my favorite villain (with a satisfying battle, and leading up to that battle). If, OTOH, it was me...I'm not a hero, or if I am then it's in the same kind as "Anne" does with her helping homeless youth (I help alleviate suffering, not face down evil). 'Course I was a bit different as a kid. I suppose I'd face the Master if I had to choose a fight since my nightmares are of vampires anyway.

13. Be obsessed with magic? Or with money? Assuming magic works as in the Buffyverse, it doesn't seem to matter. There's pros and cons to both, and one can get the other. I wouldn't want to be obsessed with either.

14. Love someone deeply but can't have sex with them? Or have great sex with someone but not in love with them? Latter. Glad I don't need to come up with some love story in my head to enjoy sex the way some do.

15. Be best friends with Buffy? Willow? Or Xander? I had to mull this one over between Buffy and Xander, and in the end I chose Xander because he's less self-absorbed and more loyal. And as I thought about it, I realized he was even less sarcastic than Buffy (most of Xander's humor is more self-depreciating rather than at another's expense, though he'll exchange barbs to those who lash out at him).

Spike; First, I won't date Riley because I would not be able to take the pressures of dating a military man. I respect his career choice, but I would not be able to commit. I can't, in good conscience, start something when I know why it's going to end. Deployment, during both dating and marriage, is really hard on both people, and I could not take the idea that my boyfriend could die in some random jungle, fighting demons. I know my limits. Even when he was a part of the Initiative, the hours required of him were not the most conducive to a relationship. Maggie required so much of him. The only reason it worked with Buffy, for as long as it did, is due to the fact that they worked the same hours and fought the same war; and, I am not Buffy. Wish you the best, Riley.
Second, I won't date because Angel has too much self-doubt and a reactive personality. If we assumed that he loved me, like he loved Buffy, he would break-up with me for the same reasons he broke-up with her. Even if I told him that we could go get soul anchored together, he would still break-up with me because he loves me too much and is unworthy of my love. I take umbrage with this because he's just going to roll over and let life determine if we could be together or not. By my standards, that's not heroic; it would be heroic if he told me to wait for him, he had a plan to get his soul anchored, and he did it. He wouldn't even have to succeed. He can come back and break-up with me if it didn't work. For me, as long as he loved me enough to try, the relationship would have been worth it. As it is, I won't date Angel. Hope you get that soul fixed, Angel; Take care.
Finally, I can date Spike. If we assume, the same thing we did with Angel. Spike would respect the boundaries I would draw, from Intervention onward, he doesn't push a relationship, even when he wants it. Only after Buffy, or in this replacement scenario me, kissed him did he ever bring up the question of our relationship. He asked what the OMWF kiss meant in Tabula Rasa, just to know where he stood and to hopefully make a decent case for himself. I would tell him I need him to get a soul, and I would explain to him that I can not be a viable replacement for his conscious. I would tell him that I can't always be there to make the hard moral choices for him, and I want a relationship with him, but under these circumstances, I cannot afford it. Giving him that avenue to pursue a relationship with me coupled with a viable reason why I needed him to get a soul, I believe would inspire him to go and get his soul. I know Spike would be willing to fight for our relationship, even if it was in shambles. I can really see my self with Spike, going to Africa with him, cheering him on during the trials, helping him through the soul caused insanity, being domestic with him, writing bad poetry about each other, having fun, stupid debates with him, so I choose Spike, if I have to be specific Season 7 Spike/ Souled Spike.

A witch; I want to keep my human soul, so I would not be a vampire. The idea of being a demon, like Lorne or Clem, is desirable, but I want to be like Tara. In many ways, she is my hero, especially in Season 6. I want to be able to do spells like she does for the reasons that she would do them, so witch me up!

Dawn; I love her so much. I want to coddle her, and I can definitely see us painting each other's nails, eating ice cream together, and talking about boy bands. I could even introduce her to some J-Pop bands, like Tacky & Tsubasa, Exile, and PureBoys. I would make it impossible for her to whine about anything. And I don't shoplift...

Oz; I can't date Tara because I want to be like Tara; and, dating who you want to be like does not bode well for a healthy relationship. It blurs identity in the worst ways; being a distinct person in a relationship requires a certainty in who you are, and I would not have that with Tara. I would be so busy trying to be like her that I would not be able to see her needs in the relationship, and that would not be fair to either of us; so, I choose Oz. We could talk philosophy together. He would get along with my brother, who is also a musician. My dad would totally be willing to build him a cage. I can see us working out.

Watcher; I prefer research than fighting. I already speak a few human languages and am learning to speak several more; a few more demon languages couldn't hurt. I don't do too well under pressure. I suffer from anxiety attacks on occasion, so I don't think I would make a good slayer. Can you imagine a slayer having an anxiety attack in battle? *shivers*

Anya; she's funny, and we could bond over our mutual culture shock moments when dealing with America traditions. She could teach me so much about the demon world! I love learning about different cultures. I could teach her about Japanese culture. It would be perfect. She's also very money savvy and could teach me how to an effective member of the economy. Unlike Anya, I can't see myself dating Cordy. I would not be able to stand the love of shopping nor the proclivity with shoes; I ready get enough of that from my grandma, mom, and sister. I honestly don't think we would have much to bond over, except over our mutual disdain for tact; which for my money, isn't enough to build a relationship on.

Sunnydale High; I feel like UC Sunnydale has more unreported off-screen deaths, due to the laws of probability and statistics. A fair amount of high school plots affected the whole town [Reptile Boy; Bad Eggs; Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered; Killed By Death; Band Candy; The Wish; Gingerbread; Dopplegangland], so to confine these events to the high school, saying that these events make the high school more dangerous than college doesn't ring true to me. If we compare the casualties from Primeval and Graduation Day, Part two, Primeval wins by a good number. Even if the student population present in the Initiative is less than half of the staff, I would still feel safer in the high school. Besides, the population of the high school is smaller, thus more easy for Buffy to protect. A smaller target means less chance of injury.

Joyce; she makes a good cuppa, or so I hear, and I hate crowded social things. Also, a lot of things attack the Bronze. I'm safer with Joyce.

I have my issues with both Willow and Xander [Willow has Tabula Rasa and Wrecked [No one hurts Dawnie], and Xander has The Pack [he should have been honest about his memories], Becoming Part two [the lie], Into the Woods [he had no right to tell Buffy any of that, without hearing her side], and Hell's Bells.], but in the end, it doesn't matter; I love both of them, equally. I just love Buffy more.
