Wrestling much?

CM Punk does not belong in DX. I love CM, I think he's an awesome Superstar and a great techincal wrestler, but he's too much of a free spirit to be part of DX. He doesn't fit in with that sort of mentality, brothers in arms and all that.

I would lpove to see DX back as a permenant feature, but I honestly don't see it happening. If, and that's a very big 'if', DX were to return, I'd like to be either just Triple H and HBK, or bring back some of the originals. Billy Gun, Road Dog...I heard a rumor at the event last weeek that X-Pac was to make a return to the WWE.

But I don't see DX returning for good. Triple H and Shawn are at the top of the business right now. They're too vaulable to tie them down to the tag team division. the odd match together is fine, and it'll give us all a happy for a few hours, but keeping them as single competators, sending them after the championship, or putting them against the biggest Superstar to possibly ever exist, brings in LOADS of money and send them even futher into the stratosphere.

But I LOVE to see the two of them together...Shawn goes so dorky and he makes me laugh SO much! :lmao:

Gotta agree....CM works better as a solo act, face or heel. Not a wise idea to put him in DX.

Hello Cutie
Deffo agree- CM Punk isn't DX material. And I don't see them returning for good either- and you couldn't bring back Gunn or the Road Dogg now, as much as I love them- they just couldn't keep up with the newcomers!
Pretty much, he was indoors and wearing sunglasses, and everything about him screamed 'I'm totally cocky and self-assured'.

Also, this is probably something you don't want to know, being male, but he's so much more attractive up close.

I just wish he'd have said the 'Never Ever' thing that he does- I love that!

Atleast he didn't call you an FDDBBFTBH 😉

If it was me, I probably would have got down on my knees and BEGGED him to call me that!! One of Y2J's BEST promos EEVVVAAA!!!
Honestly, instead of a new DX, I think I'd like to see HHH, Shawn, Y2J and Batista as the new 4 Hoursemen, with Ric Flair as their manager. I mean, sure, Flair has retired from wrestling (matches), but who better than the "dirtiest player in the game" to head up a new 4 Horsemen. I think it has a potential to be pretty sweet. But with the Shawn/Batista fued right now, no chance of that happening.

Edit

As far as the Divas, I think Natalie Neidhart has potential to be a new fave of mine. I wish that Teddy Hart could have behaved better, so we would have had the new Hart Foundation, with DH Smith.

Good idea in theory, but I just could not see it happening. I mean, The Four Horsemen were legendary, and sometimes you just shouldn't touch things like that. It's a 50/50 chance that it could either work or absolutely bomb- and if it did bomb, it'd just make a total mockery out of everything that the Horsemen originally were. It's one of those risky ideas that probably shouldn't be implemented because the risks of failure are bigger than it working.

Besides, the need to build Jericho up some more before they can do that. The problem was that the WWE anticipated more of a buzz surrounding him than there actually was when he came back- granted people gave him a massive pop, but the fact is, the WWE were relying on the fact that people would go 'Oh, you were big 5yrs ago', and unfortunately, it didn't happen as well as they thought it would- plus you've got all the little kids who don't know him as well as they hoped. So Jericho got a big comeback, and now he's starting off in the middle with very little storyline (apart from now he's stuck in the middle of that Batista-Michaels slanging match over retiring Flair, which will lead to a Backlash match, poss with Y2J as guest ref), because the WWE need to build him up slowly and make people care about him again before he can get into the big leagues with HHH, Michaels, Orton & Cena and have the same kind of effect they do on the fans.

Do you remember the 'man of a thousand holds' promo?? Look for it on Youtube- possibly one of my fav Y2J promos EVEEER!! Although he ripped it off one of the wrestlers in Stampede back in the early 90s 🙂

Also, Chris Jericho- A Lion's Tale (Around the World in Spandex), probably one of the best wrestler autobiographies I've ever read (apart from anything Foley does because he's brilliant).

That promo sparked the first ever converstion with my husband when we met. And it was the man of a thousand and one holds and he did it during his fued with Dean Malenko. Malenko was the man of a thousand holds.

The four horseman idea is really sweet. As for diva's I wish China and/or Lita were still wreslting.

It could be a good idea but you'd need the right people to do it. A good stable always has a set to it. A leader from the upper card (Ric Flair), a midcarder who fights midbelt (Tully Blanchard) and the tagteam (Ole & Arn Anderson). The point of the Horsemen was that they had all the belts at one point.

I mean look at the original DX. You had upper card HHH, mid-card X-Pac and then tagteam The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn).

So it could be a good idea, but I dunno if it'd work with those 4. And also, stables have to be worked around bad-guys.

I love Lita, so I wish she'd come back, but it's probably really impractical what with the amount of neck surgery she's had. And as for Chyna... well, all I'm going to say is porn and X-Pac. GROSS.

I don't know if any of you Jericholics caught the TNA Lockdown PPV this weekend, but Samoa Joe did the Liontamer on Kurt Angle. I repeat, the Liontamer, not the watered down Walls of Jericho. I liked it so much better when he put the knee in the back of the head, it was sweet. A friend of mine met him at a book signing and asked him why he had to stop using it in the WWE and he said because he kept hurting people and know one would take it.

Anyone a Stevie Richards fan? I think Stevie is quite possibly the most under utilized talent they have. I would love to see a superkick contest between Stevie and HBK. I think that it would make for good tv, even though Shawn would come out on top. They could even show video of when Stevie imitated Shawn back in the early days of ECW. Now I'm just rambling, but yeah.

I really think a new Four Horsemen could work, they just need the right combination. Personally, I can't stand Buttista, but I know if it did happen, they would put him in there cuz he and Trips are boys.

BTW, if anyone is interested, Raven just made his WCW debut on 24/7 this week. There has been some debate on whether or not they would have his entire WCW run, or if it would be chopped up, considering one of his biggest rivalries there was with Benoit. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Didn't you know. There's a very well-established/known porno called 'One Night In Chyna' [btw, its Chyna with a Y not an I lol]. Which features the wonders of X-Pac and Chyna. And definitely the reason why I could never see those two wrestle ever again. Ewww.

Let's just say all the steroids she took did some 'interesting' [read: weird and gross] things to her body, growth-wise!

Edit:

I saw that! I love watching TNA- the storylines are mostly rubbish, but the wrestling is brutal, and the Knockouts are some of the best female wrestlers I've ever seen.

Also, I like what you did with Buttista, rather than Batista. I don't like him too much either, and I've always wondered, what's with the girly looking tattoo round his belly button?? I mean I'd never say it was girly to his face incase he ground my bones to make his bread, but still... it annoys me for some reason, especially since my WWE calendar has him on it for April so I see it every morning!

Let's just say that the age old, "Is Chyna really a man?" question gets answered. If you've seen Clerks II, think Dante's girlfriend...

A certain part that grew large enough to look like a penis...yeah, you go throw up, that's right, you asked for it. As for the Knockouts, yes, some of thr hottest and greatest female wrestlers in the biz today. I mean, Gail Kim, ODB, Awesome Kong, Raiesha Saeed (sp?) wow.

As for some of the new girls, Rhaka Khan looked impressive the other night, and I quite like Roxie Laveuau, that's a cool idea for a character.
