Write a 20 line poem!

Seize the Moment because tomorrow you might be dead

Willow liked what Buffy said to her, though it was not the most pleasant thing to say,
“It’s better than that librarian guy he handed me a leather bound volume titled Vampyr.
The worst that he could do was smile to himself, he thought he was so clever and to
make matters worse I also bumped into the two school idiots: Xander and Cordelia.”

And as for the librarian, he told me that into each generation a slayer was born, shows
how much he knew of us chosen ones because along’ll come Kendra and Faith both of
whom were ready to be a chosen one in my generation? Oh the wonderful watchers.
And we have the strength and skill to kill a vampire, to hunt or save from an attack.

And those silly vampires thought we didn’t know what they thought of homo sapiens
as being like a plague of boils, the race of man covered the earth, good thing there were
no girls or women; stupid thick vampires! Bet they never heard of many people being
affected by the mumps, let no one did they know of measles or a blood borne disease.

Then on the third day after the new light, the first day without the moons light on earth
so will come the Harvest the first night without light just right for vampires to venture on
to the earth. If the blood of man flow’s like wine to let The Master walk on the surface
of the earth, if the blood of man flows a lot The Master might stagger from all the wine.

But then the vampire proved how thick they really are, they said that the earth would
belong to the Old Ones who are vestiges of certain creatures that previously roamed the
earth. Willow said to Buffy that one of those buried with the Old Ones was she who
would be known as Illyria, for she was buried in the Deeper Well, cared for by Drogyn.


did anyone notice the word count was higher this time, and what was it?

I did write a second poem :

Life is not easy,
Choices are hard,
Terrible work,
Insurmountable heartaches,

We would like to be able to stop everything,
Say goodbye, commit suicide,
But no, we must continue,
Don't choose the easy way,

Bad people, there are,
If you're down, get up,
Keep hope, believe in yourself,
The fight does not stop there,

Smile, be strong,
To be strong is to continue to believe in yourself,
To be strong is to continue the fight,
To be strong is to live life every day,

Yes, it's true, life is not easy,
But it is worth living,
Dry your tears, take my hand,
What if we faced life together ?

Rays coming out of sky-blue spheres
Are blended together with ocean gleam.
They float in a maze of larimar walls
And pierce through my flesh so softly.

A pleasant voice ringing in my ears
Sneaks itself in to the bird's song.
Mellow tunes echo in the forest behind me
Where every note falls with leaves.

The light of my soul waves at me
Says goodbye as she stands on the shore
On the shore of the lake I made
I made with the pearls dripping
Dripping from my leaves,
For I am the willow tree
The weeping willow tree
Whose wooden heart no longer beats.

A Soldier’s Mission
From the Mind of Graham

Command;
He gives me my orders,
So I obey.

A soldier’s life—
To fall in line;
Don’t ask questions,
Follow your orders.

Where to deploy,
Hostiles to capture,
Mission targets and parameters;
The final debrief.

But the field is chaos.

Command;
boss first, friend last.
Orders given, I obey.

Hostiles don’t follow mission;
Hostiles don’t follow protocol.

Soldiers fall in line,
But loyalty comes first.

Deploy to zone,
Clear the scene,
Save command.

He will never know,
The extent of my loyalty,
My honor—my mission.

Command:
