I just bought the DVD of Wrong Turn starring Eliza Dushku. When I originally watched this film I didn't like it, mainly because I didn't find it that frightening, but I thought I'd buy the DVD anyway. Watching it again, I quite like it. Its just your everyday horror film. I think Eliza plays a good character. I'd like to see her play something other than the tough girl though, but she plays this type of character really well.

So, has anyone else watched this film? What did you think?
 
Its kinda weird so I thought. Liz was awesome in it and I loved her character, but it was no where near as scary as it sounded. 😱
 
I liked it, the story was pretty good and I enjoyed seeing her play a character that wasn't totally like Faith. We all know Faith wouldn't have allowed herself to be tied up and helpless like those freaky guys did. I thought it was interesting and I have it myself.
 
I liked it the first time I saw it in theaters. I even made sure to go on opening weekend. I agree it wasn't scary, but most movies aren't anyway. I thought it was much better than "Deliverance"
 
Shamefuly I have to admit that I haven't seen it in theatres, maybe I'll rent it one day, but it doesn't seem to be any better then you're average slasher. Which is kind of a let-down.
 
Allycat, if your after a really scary film, then Wrong Turn isn't something to watch. It is like your average slasher film, its nothing special.

I'm starting to really like Desmond Harrington, who plays Chris Finn. I think he's gorgeous.
 
I thought it was really gory and I was spooked by it! But, I'm a big scaredy cat/chicken/baby whatever you wanna call it! It was worth watching to see Eliza but that was 'bout it. I thought she was really pretty in this movie, they softened her hair color or something which made her look more sweet and girly to me.
 
I didn't see the movie because I was grounded around the time it came out. It's video and DVD now, obviously, so I'll probably buy it and see it.
 
I liked this movie. I own it actually. I love Eliza in it she kicks butt! Also I liked this because it is not like your everyday slasher movie, it has a different storyline. I thought it was pretty creepy actually. That one guy who went "Hee hee haa heee" lol. The tiny one freaked me out.
 
I love the movie, Eliza's character was my fave of course but the guy Chris was really cute too, and I liked the other couple as well. I thought it was kinda scary the first time I saw it, then I bought it on dvd and now I mean it's not that scary but it's cool to watch. Brulia, that little one freaked me out too! I like weird movies like this.
 
I've watched this film loads of times now and I keep picking up little bloopers. Like when Jesse is under the bed with Chris theres a pool of blood next to them, but when they climb from under the bed the blood is gone and how did Jesse get the blood on her top, it was just all of a sudden there.

I know I need a hobby, but these directors get loads of money and there missing out little details. Has anyone else seen any bloopers?
 
oh I really love this movie.
The first time I watched it, it scared the heel out of me but I get scared real easy soo.
The second time it wasn't scary at al.
I loved Eliza's character, I just kept expecting her to turn into Faith and kick some bad guy's ass.
I downloaded it so I watch it pretty often!

Lol yea the first time was scary, but after that it wasn't...I get scared really easy though too!

Lol, I was like come on kick their asses. I was so used to her as Faith!
