I don't usually watch it and I'd like to think tonight is the exception but I have a horrible feeling it won't be lol

That girl was amazing, her voice gave me goosebumps. Such a refreshing, genuine voice!

I thought that without Simon and Cheryl the show wouldn't interest me but I enjoyed watching it tonight. That girl Janet was fantastic and Goldie was hilarious. The preview for the coming weeks with Louis crying and other crazy stuff looked interesting too. Tulisa is hot but Cheryl will still be missed.

I've watched it mainly because someone I know is supposed to be on it soon. Janet was very good and I loved Dermot sticking up for the girls against that idiot George

Now that Simon is on the American version, and that there's ACTUALLY an American version, I'll focus on that one. I still checked out the video you linked. She was good, but imo, none of the auditions were even close to the best last year and the year before that.

Usually I look forward to the X Factor but this year it just hasn't appealed as much to me than it has done in previous years. I think its because Simon isn't on the show anymore and Louis just annoys the crap out of me. I did watch the last half an hour last night and thought Gary was really good as a judge, I can't stand Tulisa already and Kelly just seems so "meh" I don't know if I'll be sticking with this year. I'll probably tune in to the American version to see how it does.

I was a bit hesitant because Simon always made the show for me, and I find Cheryl to be adorable but after watching the first episode, I'm hooked. Janet was definitely the highlight for me - she is everything I look for in an artist, reminding me of Diana Vickers who I voted for every week when she was on. I think she has the potential to be much more popular than Diana though, I know some people couldn't stand her.

Plus, Kelly was surprisingly good. I thought most of her comments were insightful and relevant, which we've never really had from a judge before.

And that Freddie kid lives about 2 minutes away from me, and is possibly the most horrendous human being I've ever seen on tv. And I've been a Big Brother viewer for years.

I would have preferred if Sharon came back instead of Tulisa. I quite liked Kelly, which surprised me. Barlow is a bit of a gobshite, but you need that element there to balance all the crazy.

I actually liked them by the end of the Xtra Factor, but it wasn't till the end of that show that I liked them, got more of their personality form Xtra. Kelly was very funny.

Still thought there was something missing, but it may just be not knowing the judges, wouldn't be a fan of Take That, Kelly Rowland (except her David Guetta song) or NDubz, so maybe after watching a few I'll like it better.
