X-Factor UK 2012

Yeah true, I was just more thinking like compared to the voice which is about singing singing whereas xfactor is more publicity based.

Although the bitchy banter between him and Gary was great, Gary whooped him!
 
I think Ryland getting through says to me that it's not a fix.

If it was a fix they would have put him in the bottom two and let the same thing happen to keep getting all the press. I'd say people voted to keep him in to keep the drama, thats the real reason people watch.

But I really wish he'd gone home, his stupid over the top reaction was so annoying.

Although I was surprised Melanie went, I thought she was one of the better ones yesterday.
 
I don't think the show is a fix when it comes to the voting order. But it's not exactly 100% genuine either.

I was happily surprised with Lucy this week. Normally, she doesn't particularly grab my attention but this week she impressed me! I thought Melanie was good, it's a shame she has gone. I also enjoy the tone to Jade's voice and I actually think both boy bands are pretty decent singers.

I hope Christopher Maloney goes soon, he is driving me a bit mad. And unless MK1 bring something amazing next week I think they'll be in trouble!

Also, how awesome has Nicole Scherzinger been on the live shows? 😀

I agree about MK1, I think they have the potential to do something really good, but they haven't gotten there yet.

I agree on Nicole, which is a shocker, I've really enjoyed her on the live shows, she's been hilarious. I watched the american one and she was crap on that, but she seems so much more comfortable on this panel and has been fantastic so far!

Tulisas been a bit of a let down, you can kinda see her holding back a bit, I wonder if it's for all the flack she got last year for bringing up the backstage bullying.

Yeah definitely, I think after the show MK1 could make some decent music, so good luck to them! Nicole wasn't great on the US version...I don't know what it was but she is far better suited to the UK version and brings some humour to the show. And she also looks great!

As for Tulisa, I fee as though she is giving better critique's this year but I don't feel as though she is as emotionally invested in the show as she was last year.

Looking forward to club classics week! What do you think of the theme? 🙂

I agree there's something not connecting with her this season, I'd say its tough for her she is a good but younger then everyone else.

I really like club classics, I think Rebecca Ferguson was brilliant at that theme a few years ago she had a breakthrough moment, so hope someone like Ella could do something awesome!

I'd be worried for Lucy though, like her original song wasn't great a week back, I liked golddigger but it wasn't really on theme.

I absolutely loved Rebecca that week! I wonder who will shine 🙂 Lucy is very inconsistent really!

Slightly off topic, but before you said you liked Cheryl Cole so does that mean you like GA too? If so, there new song "something new" has leaked. It's pretty good!

I more like Cheryl from xfactor, I didn't know who she was till I watched xfactor, so wasn't ever a fan of GA, didn't dislike them but I couldn't tell you any of their songs!
 
Anyone watching?

Jamane was pretty amazing, quite liked Lucy this week.

But I think it seems like Tulisas got a bit more of a bite this week. Nicole is still stringing random words together to form sentences, but I'm still liking her.
 
Jahmene, Ella and District 3 were my favourites this week!

Although in general, I found the show very flat and song choices very poor considering it was Club Classics week :/
 
I'm definitely getting the sense that the contestants choose the songs or at least have allot of say, which I think is a stupid idea!
 
Hmmm well tonight I cried a little inside as Ella whom I love covered one of my fav bands and I did not like it 🙁 Rylan....still don't like...Kye surprised me and was amazing tonight 🙂

Just waiting for my Jahmene and praying he can pull it off tonight!!

I mouth literally fell open when he said it, I love when you can tell stuff is real, she was pissed and couldn't have acted that good!
 
He's pretty good, but I just can't see his career after, I'd imagine it would be the same as like Joe McElderry
