Yeah, it does. I just remember hearing something about back when the series was coming to a close, but haven't heard anything since. Looks like I'll keep my eyes and ears open for it then...
 
Like what's been said, there are rumors of a second movie, but nothing concrete. The XF Boards are always alive with discussion about it, so hopefully that will generate some interest on the producers part to jumpstart it...But *if* there is one made, I wouldn't hold your breath for it to come out within..say...the next 3 or so years.
 
I kinda figure that now, Like I had said, they were talking before the finale came out about a second movie expected in 2005, but if nothing concrete's being said, it's obvious it's going to be awhile. I was just curious if anyone ever heard anything else about it.
 
I'm dissapointed by the fact that there is a chance it won't make it to the big screen, because they left a lot of things unanswered. What happened to Skinner? How are Mulder and Scully going to make it on the run? What did they do with Gibson? *frustrated sigh* At least with the Buffy finale, we weren't left hanging when it came to the fate of the characters...
 
very true. I didn't like the finale, not even just for that reason. I felt it was going to close the series better than it did, but it left more questions than answers
