Hmm...my fave's probably...I dunno...umm...

I think Jean Grey"”in the videogames"”the way you can just whip people around with her telekinetic powers is"”super fun, and hilarious, lol.

In the movies, it might be...Logan. I really liked the relationship between Wolverine and Rogue in the first film.

In the Joss-penned comics, it's probably Kitty Pryde. I like her attitude.

I am excited to see Dark Phoenix and Angel and Beast (though Kelsey Grammer's gonna take awhile to get out of my head, I think.)
 
I wasnt that impressed with the first 2 films. But I will almost definately go and see this.

Magneto rules!!! Ian Mckeelen is brilliant as him in the films. I would say wolverine is my favourite but I can't stand the actor who plays him. he gets on my nerves! Hugh Jackman!
 
i know i was like ???? when i found out fraiser was going to be beast, but when you look at his face he does suit it and he fits the charature well, ( dr fraiser crane, dr hank mcoy) 🙂

and yep sir ian is brilliant he rules 🙂 ok so who would be your ideal wolverine ???
 
I'm nervous about the 3rd film. I hope Ratner can pull it off. And I think the same dudes who wrote #2 wrote the third one as well? Is that right?

#2 was pretty good,"”had some awesome action scenes, like the Nightcrawler attack at the Whitehouse. And the X-Jet chase, with Storm's tornadoes and Rogue falling out of the plane"”cool. But it really dragged and got sort of lame by the 3rd act, I thought. Overall, entertaining.
 
I'm definetly looking forward to this. I love the X-Men movies. My favorite X-Men would have to be Storm and Wolverine. Although I also like Phoenix. That's why I can't wait for this movie. Because she's going to be in it.
 
Storm apparently gets to fly a fair amount in the 3rd one. Halle Berry was psyched about it and did all her own wire-work. Ended up vomiting on the way back to her trailer...

I wanna see some serious telekinetic destruction goin on with Phoenix.
 
I love the first two movies.
The first one was beyond what i could have imagined for the film. The casting of Jean, Prof X, Wolvy and Magneto was perfect. Berry was a bit underused, but when she was in the Statue she WAS Storm and has showed that when(X3 hopefully) she is used properly, she will be magnificent.
The second movie took everything i loved about the first movie and added even more comic feel to it.......awesome, again perfect casting of NightCrawler.

Now, i have seen a few people being skeptical over Beast.....now that i think about it, Kelsey could not be more perfect. He exudes intellect, just like Beast.....the shots of him look fantastic too.
Not sure on Vinnie Jones(i swear WTF) or Ben Foster(to be Angel, he isnt pretty enough) but i will give them benefit of doubt as the first two movies were grand.
 
Wolverine is the best...he is so beastly! I am looking forward to the third film, although, I didn't like the second as much as I thought I would. I think Berry is sorely miscast. The new one looks very intense and epic and I'll probably join the masses and see it opening weekend. ::mmm::
 
well its tieed so far with storm and wolverine, hue is a great actor for wolverine, he was too soft in the first one, but we got to see some of his rage in 2nd... muahahahahahaha who knows what we will c in the 3rd muaahahahahaha
 
i am the worlds biggest x men fan (in that non-obsessive sorta way......yeah) and i sooo cant wait for this to come out. SOOO going to the midnight showing

but i digress

i really hope Ratner can pull this off. naturally, i hate Singer for leaving but you cant deny greatness. the pheonix is amazing and the movie will suck major if she isnt as great as the comics portray her.

my fav character in the first movies would be iceman. shawn ashmore is freakin hott.

in the cartoon, gambit. his attitude is cute.

in the comics, phoenix totally. she's the most powerful thing in the 'verse and its awesome.
 
hats one reason why im so exited about the third one, to see the rath of the pheonix and of course my fave wolverine, i hope they put gambit in one time 🙂 he rules in the cartoon. ( please let movie pheonix kick ass )
 
I love Logan. Hugh is just amazing in the role. I also like Mystique, but apparently, she's getting no love in this thread. The writers can't seem to come up with excuses for Halle to do anything interesting and she comes off as an extra. I'm excited to see Dark Phoenix. I never read the comics and I was totally surprised by the ending of X2. Every fan says that DP rocks, so I'm super excited for that. Crossing my fingers that Ratner can pull it off.

Gambit's really a minor X-Man character. Relatively new, doesn't have deep roots, a big loner, he's very easy to leave out of the movies. Also, Bryan Singer once said that when they were choosing who to bring in, they look at a few factors; look, powers, personality. Remy looks a lot like Cyclops, has energy projecting powers like Cyclops, and the loner/badass role is filled by Wolverine.

Well, they had about 20 years of comic books without him...

I'm waiting to see how they handle the Phoenix. The changes they made from the original comic to the movie didn't distract from the story at all, in fact I enjoyed them...a bit more palatable than having them in a space shuttle when Jean died.
