Xander and Anya Writer's Guild site

Hey.

I dunno how many people know about the BtVS Writer's Guild but here it is: http://btvswritersguild.dymphna.net/index.shtml

Its a pretty good resource site with links to different shipper, character and theme sites which all have essays, beta readers etc concerning the chosen area. However one gaping hole in the collection seems to be Xander and Anya (as a couple).

I like this couple but don't get up to much writing myself so I was wondering, If I was to make a website for it (to keep me occupied) would you all include some stories that you have/will/are done/do/doing or links to your favourite stories. Xanyaness must be spread!

I'd love to contriubute, I have a few mini Xanya stories on my computer and have loads of other bookmarked!

Well we'd need essays and stuff as well. The requirements are:

The basic requirements of all the zones are:
*Essays. For character zones: one essay on the character and one essay on the basic overview of 'ships for that character, for relationship zones: one essay on the pairing and one each for both characters, for genre zones: one essay on the genre and one on dealing with the characters using the genre.
*While sharing essays with other zones is fine, don't go overboard. Zones should make an effort to add fresh essays to their sites, rather than borrowing all the essays from other zone sites.
*A fanfic archive OR a page of recommended fics on your zone subject. eFiction archives are allowed.
*A collection of mailing lists and archives that focus on and/or accept your zone subject.
*A list of beta readers who are willing to read for your zone subject. The minimum for a minor zone is five betas.
*Cross-browser usability. This means that if someone has Mozilla, Opera, or even Netscape, they should still be able to access your site as easily as someone using the latest Internet Explorer.
*No bashing of any relationships, characters or shows. At all.
*Monthly updates for minor zones.
*The site must have a focus on being a writing resource. Pretty layouts are fine, as variety is nice, but the site must be a resource first, pretty second.


If we get more people interested I'll start looking around sites and seeing if I can find old ones that aren't active any more and contact them (thanks for the link btw).


Really off topic but XH, we were talking about Milton Keynes in English today. Reminded me of you and Nick-meeting fun.

ohhh... I can give a few drabbles, maybe a kinda good essay (I haven't written much of them) and I've got started on a Xander/Anya story a few months ago that when I complete it I can give it away to the site 😉

And I also can be a beta reader to the beta list on the site thing 🙂

Browsed briefly today, found a couple web sites on Xander and Anya. The pics and wallpaper were pretty cool, but the web pages overall were pretty dissapointing.

Wow, thats alot to be done there! I'd like to write an essay or two once the site gets up and running. I'll browse the web for some Xander and Anya resorces and I know a few people who might be interested in helping!

You can use essays from other sites (if they approve obviously) but they ask for original work. May start work on a Xanya essay and might nicely ask Lee if he will write an Anya one or two.

I'm looking forward to the next Colletormania in May. Myabe some more Buffy/Angel people will come. Last november the women who played Kennerdy came but I wasn't really intrigued to get her signature!
