Xander, Anya, Andrew and Dawn

There's a big fight coming up, sure. But what the hell are the minor Scoobies going to do to help.

I mean normally there is some way in which they are all useful, but if Xander, Anya, Andrew or Dawn goes into this battle, they are just insane.

I have a sneaky suspision that the Turok-Han army wasn't stopped by closing the Seal Of Danzalthar. If Buffy was nearly killed by one of them, then I don't think Andrew will last more than two seconds.

So come on, any ideas. How can they help?
 
In terms of actualy fighting, only Dawn really can hold her own. Because she has watched Buffy.

Anya cannot fight. All she can do it run and hide.
Xander maybe could've fought with two eyes, but down one, I don't think so.

Andrew is just worthles anyways, so he won't be of any help either

i agree with that on the fighting side. if the potentials can go into battle, then so can dawn. (she hasnt been fighting at all lately, whats that about?)

i think the others should be involved in the more passive side of the fight. gathering info, handing out weapons, getting magic supplies, researching, etc. but when the actual fighting goes down, hopefully they can stay out of harms way and maybe shoot arrows from a distance. (like xander did in the vineyard)
 
Speaking of Dawn, I just read a very intriguing article about her (at http://www.the-buzz.com/b_7_12a.html) that brought up a great theory for the end of the series. Remember Buffy sacrificing herself in "The Gift" to save Dawn? She could do this because they're made of the same blood or whatever. So now I guess the two of them are pretty interchangable, as far as tricking the magick world goes. Besically, Dawn could die at the end to spare Buffy, who then could relinquish her Slayer abilities and be normal. Like Joyce telling all that stuff to Dawn in "CWDP" - maybe Dawn and Buffy won't be on the same side or whatever because Buffy doesn't want Dawn to die for her. Balance would come back to the Slayer line once "Buffy" is dead, because her still being alive is what created the problem in the first place. Things would come full-circle... yeah, weird, far-out theory, I know... I guess we'll just have to wait and see...!
 
well the season is over and anya died for andrew wick kinda sux lol but I think it was brave of her even if her death was stupid and why did they even need to make sure the turuhai (sp?) Or Orcs (my LOTR name for them) needed to stay in the builing...I mean it was in the middle of the day the Orcs couldnt go out annyway...

i had that same question, but someone pointed out that principal wood said that the building was close to others. so they could have gotten into other buildings and maybe even more, and just hung out till sundown......
 
It was suitable that they put Anya and Andrew together, and Xander and Dawn together for the final fight. Some people thought it was weird that Anya was fighting so well, but earlier this year she handled a sword quite well against Buffy....although she was still part demon at that point. The whole bunny reference put forth her hidden anger and killing potential I guess. I watched Graduation Day Part 2 today and watching Anya flee the battle instead of staying reminded me of her death for sticking around for this battle. But she died honorable.
 
I think the purpose of containing the Turok-han(s) in the school was to prevent them from getting into the sewers, which I thought I heard someone say at one point...

Anya's death kinda felt like a letdown even though I knew it was coming (darn spoilers). Yes, she died honourably, but I figured Xander would be a bit more broken up about it.
