I listened to the first track of the first album on the page. I think it sounds a bit like the Blade Runner soundtrack or something.
It's really not my kind of music though... It's just, like, 6 minutes of synth sounds and a beat.
There's also a thrash band with unusual inspiration for band name: they're named after a character from one of my favourite books Catch 22, they're called Nately's Whore's Kid Sister.
One day there'll be band I like named after a film/book/TV show that I like!
It would be interesting to see if they are in violation of copyright. I would assume the BtVS production company has copyrighted all of the character names from the show and it would be legally defensible but probably not worth it for the band to retain the name if they were sued. Joss and the production company may have lost interest in the name or they may decide that this is good publicity for the remaining comic franchise or if the band has never made any comment about the origin of the name, they may decide it is not worth going after them for "damages".
