I didn't really know what to title this. I always thought some of the things that Xander said or did that seemd slightly gay. For example: Anya getting him a limited edition Backstreet Boys Lunch Box? I just don't see a straight manly man wanting this. LOL And his admiration of Riley, I think he even said, he wanted to sleep with him after seeing The Initiative. Trying to come up with other things here....I am sure you will remember some. I am not saying Xander was gay, just some of the things he said or did seemed gayish!
 
hahahah yeah xander acts pretty homo. maybe because all he does all day is hang around a bunch of girls? he's bound to have developed a huge feminine side because of willow and buffy.

Def. Panda said it for me, haha. I think he's really metro because all he did was hang out with girly girls..he's bound to act a little gay when all hears about are cute boys, hair, makeup..you know? lol..but he didnt have bad taste in women, hello, cordelia and anya..both very pretty chicks..so metro couldnt have been to bad of a way for him to go..haha.

there is an episode - cant remember which one - where he says something about he so needs to get some male friends!!!

he also says something along those lines in S5...think it was 'Triangle' he says something macho or something and the girls don't get it, or something sexist and the girls are annoyed.

Xander: Too many girls. I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

i think i remember hearing something about orignially Xander was gonna be the one to come out, but Joss and Co. changed their minds. maybe they thought no one would wanna watch that? lmao

i think it was originally either willow or xander who would be gay, but then tara came along, and they were like, you know what? it should be willow 🙂 and yay for that decision! 😀
 
I'd say Xander acts pretty damn straight. Sure he's not the most stereotypically manly man on TV, but I haven't seen any signs what so ever that he'd be into guys. He's also sexually/romantically interested in almost all the girls he is hanging out with, at different times. I honestly don't see how a lunch box changes someone's sexual orientation.

I think this says something about Joss' opinion on stereotypical manliness, and what kind of male characters he wanted to create:

(I know that isn't necessarily what you guys were talking about, but it sort of says something about Joss' dislike for stereotypes – when it comes to gender and gender roles – and I doubt that Joss would put in a lunch box as a hint about someone's sexual preference or unmanliness.)

(Having said that, I'm not saying Xander couldn't ever have any kind of interest in a guy, just, I haven't seen any signs of it on the show.)
 
I think he can do things that seem pretty gay-ish like ya with the lunch box, and in Intervention, when he's talking about Spike saying how he's well muscled and all that, he doesn't seem like really GAY, just like a bit camp lol.
 
Right I wasn't saying he was gay...I just didn't really know how to put it. It's like he occassionally queens out though. LOL JK He is an odd ball, that is what I love about him.
 
Lol. Yeah, he may have strange mannerisms, but he's insanely loveable....great, is it just me or do I sound like Anya? LOL.
